Nice! Like how it even manages to topple over that Traxxas Tmaxx and the end of the video!!

Great video. I’ve just received his alongside some Arrow wheels and slick tyres. Can’t wait to try it out this weekend! 🙏

You wont regret it, had mine out this weekend. Great buggy to drift on dusty tracks and handles brilliantly!

Wow. Impressive. Why can't we get them in the US?!

Perhaps you could talk to one of your distributors to see what can be done. They are a great buggy for the money. A lot of bang for your buck. 😁

I'm not sure why the ftx range is unavailable in the US, I have heard they trade under different names though for different countries. But honestly it's better to find an affordable brand that you can get parts for cheaply and easily, there's nothing worse than having a great RC and having to wait weeks for spares.

Hi rc boyo I'm getting back into rc after 30 year break and like the idea of this car a lot would you recommend running a 3c from the off and if so will the brushed motor handle that power or did you use a low power 3s .i used to race 1/8 scale nitro mugen so electric is new to me ... Great video thank you

Hi there, if your used to nitro and 1/8 I'd say go for the brushless kit. The brushed basic model will handle 3s, but will likely pop the motor in the short term, the little motor windings just aren't built for that. It will feel different to your mugen, much more twitchy and the acceleration will likely surprise you, in a good way! Glad my video was helpful, feel free to ask me any questions :D

makes me want to get the one i’ve bought get going, i have a brushless one and the motor is fully seized up and the servo is in bad condition so am saving for a full servo and motor, does anyone happen to have any recommendations?

Don't need to spend loads on a servo for this little kit, but I always recommend metal geared servos. I couldn't tell you exactly what brand I use, buts its no more than £20 and works a treat. If I was to race it then maybe a faster one would be ideal, but for drifting in the dirt and racing around with a few friends there's no need to buy expensive servos.
