When I see collections like this, with multiple grails, it eases my urge to want any high priced silver and bronze grail due to the scarcity factor is truly a myth.
@@lowratehitmanabsolutely silver and bronze aren’t rare…. n high grade sure they are hard to find but you can get a copy of any one of these books 24 hrs a day all year long

I priced out the collection according to the tags he had on each book. I used the "raw" price and had to guess on a few that weren't really visible. I also rounded off because it was too much of a pain not to, haha. I came up with $527,150. Some of the listed prices are off of course, PLUS they are old prices, so I'd suspect these books are worth something closer to 450k (I could be wrong of course). Still, that's one heck of a collection!! Is it still available?

I am a little surprised he never elected to to sell his multiple copies that would have clearly paid off his entire collection and in addition made a profit as well.
Nice group of comic books...used to have a lot of multiples collection of early silver age keys and runs 35+ years ago....just glad to have hung onto a few for memories. :-)
With so many huge keys and price organization I am curious why those comics are all out of order and scattered throughout the boxes. Is that a strategy to confuse the buyer into miscalculating the price? Are they organized by grade? Or do you think they just couldn’t be bothered to do so? For sure, this collection is incredible.
There were over 400 long boxes to sort, and the best ones were put in short boxes, in no particular order, as they were sorted... There are still 45 more short boxes of good stuff, but these are the best 4 boxes.

Cavewoman is by Budd Root/Basement Comics, an indi book from the 90's. The first issue in high grade is $$. Has an Art Adams-ish style. Great artist. Basically, he does pinups of CW now.

Could be a master of collecting beat up books etc and fixing em up wether it be a staple or defects cleaning buying bad copies and putting em all together at most 60,000 cash pushing it markets dropped tremendously you’d have to go over every book condition grade it then take 40%off reality boys all Ungraded can have added coloring on books never know is a great collection but in this world ya gotta check check check

Difficult collection to sell in its entirety. Would a pure collector with deep pockets be interested? Problem is he appears to have too many multiples. Realistically, this may be more of a collection a dealer would be interested in, but of course a dealer will require a steep discount from current value. As others have said, this is a collection he should have started selling three years ago.

This collection is great….. but this stuff really isn’t that rare. He doesn’t want to sell this collection on the cheap…. If he did why show it this way. Their are big collectors in this hobby all over this county that could obtain it but he’s looking for close to those sticker prices. It would cost you at least 15k just to get them graded…. He wants as many eyes on this collection as possible to appeal to collectors not dealers.

I'm noticing this as well. Maybe not quite this magnitude, but large, bulk collections for tens of thousands of dollars.
It's going to get to a point where supply will way outpace demand, probably sooner than later.
