alot of japanese/chinese professional eaters learn to stretch their stomachs so to speak. it involves lots of exercise, eating a bit more each time and whatnot the world record for eating was held by a japanese man for eating hotdogs which i think he ate 50 or so hotdogs. not sure if he still holds the record or not now
6123 cals? Thats insane, considering it doesn't look like THAT much food... it certainly doesn't look like 3 days worth of food. So to anyone saying thats good for you, please explain.
im pretty sure that the "fried stuff" that people are referring to is a croquet. they are basically filled things like meat/vegetables. I've only had vegetable croquets but they are indeed delicious. never had it with curry though....
I don't know if it makes me or anyone feel better. But facts are facts. I am merely stating them. FYI, Asia is a big continent. How asians cook curry in some parts of it doesn't mean all asians cook it the same way. I am asian, too. So I know.
So yum. Curry rice is the most down to earth fast food for the mass in Japan. Kinda like burgers and hot dogs for America. Yet, it's incredibly good and much less fattening.
@KaySayNg Japanese food/ the japanese diet consists of far more healthy and less fatty foods than any other country so no matter what you eat, you dont get as fat as if you ate 3kg of Burgerking... That and Japan has lots of weightloss solutions that are far more avaliable to the Japanese public and are far more efficient than western methods... :)
@Coralys35 i know, i used to date a japanese who eats like a horse and stays thin like a baby. I think the secret is first genetics and secondly in tokyo they walk everywhere they go. literally, walking 50km for them is nothing! i am really jealous of them because they eat tons and tons of meat, carbs etc. they FEAST everytime they dine but they dont gain weight!!! when ppl say ppl in Texas eat the most, then they def have never been to japan!
@SuperLoli101 i know i wasn't refering to her eating fast food , im very familiar with the japanese lifestyle , but she's eating all this curry as if its nothing which is why i'm amazed , also because curry is very fatty because of the cream content that it has , its just one of those questions where you see someone eat alot all the time but they never get fat , :3
I beg pardon? The manga was very well-researched. There actually was a section about Japanese curry, but I didn't recall it specifically. It was my own assumption that curry was more than a spice.
I think the things in the middle were actually fish. "toro" I think it said, which is a kind of fish. Plus, if you look carefully at the way the cut is layered, its more common in fish than in pig. o w o Just a thought.
I used to be able to eat just as much as that, the only reason i stay so thin ( I'm almost 17 and i weigh abut..55kg O_O) is because my metabolism is super fast. But unless i starve my self for a hole day, i eat just as much as any other person. But when i'm hungry..i eat like a monster lol.
@MrTiNGGY They weigh the plate first then "zero" the scale so that if the plate was weighed (if it was empty) the scale would set itself at zero. Digital scales like that do that. :)
I think I could eat that...if: 1.) I were distracted by friends. (Research shows one eats more if they are distracted and happy) 2.) It tastes good 3.) I haven't eaten breakfast or lunch. GODDAMIT, i AM SO HUNGRY
@mazzmos Mother nature created things for man to create. Saying to not eat man made items is the same as saying "don't eat that apple from that apple tree he planted, eat one that has been preserved for a couple of billion years"
@Coralys35 we made the same thing at our house since my cousin wanted to try to out too ( the big plate of curry and two smaller plates) and he managed to finish it all along with a side of tempura ramen that i made for myself( which he stole from me) AND a bowl of rice.....my cousin isn't even japanese lol XD he's half chinese and half laos. you'd expect him to be the size of a pig but he's actually underweight for a kid his age ( currently 114 pounds and he's 17 years old)
Pretty fast metabolism, I guess...I used to eat like a demon when I was 15 to 25, then I`ve started to go slow, now I eat 2.5 to 3.5Kcal, everyday... no soft drinks, no sugar, except my morning coffee with lots of cream and lots of sugar, but I got hungry watching this vid, damn!!!
i love that the whole time she's eating, she's maintaining perfect table manners LOL!
庄司さん若!!!
かわいいーーーー!!
That supersized curry meal looks even better.
at first when that kid popped up at 0:19
i was like "THAT LITTLE MAN IS GOING TO EAT IT? HELL N- oh wait its her eating it"
Amazing! Katsu sounds mysterious, but I'm sure it won't kill you, so eat it up! That curry looks yummmmmmy!
That's pork, they said "torokatsu" as a play on words which is "toro" melting or tender which is a verb and not "tuna".
Out of this world !
only if you're sweating like hell on a humid day
The male host looks like a Japanese Jimmy Kimmel.

she even has a small shovel [giant spoon?] to help devor it faster, oh the humanity!
me neither, but Google confirms it.
that person is comparing the curry with the burgers and hot dogs.
she eats like a super saiyan.
She's so talented I mean come on who would eat that amount of curry without throwing up T___T
6123 cals? Thats insane, considering it doesn't look like THAT much food... it certainly doesn't look like 3 days worth of food. So to anyone saying thats good for you, please explain.
this is the kind of gal you should bring to your family if you're indian of decent!
that could actually last me for my breakfast , lunch , dinner and supper
im pretty sure that the "fried stuff" that people are referring to is a croquet. they are basically filled things like meat/vegetables. I've only had vegetable croquets but they are indeed delicious. never had it with curry though....

its like she has been starving since the day she was born.
Me coming home after school
They compare the size to a child!
Now i'm hungry.
Child flavored Curry.

yes it is pork katsu, the meat = pork loin, Katsu means bread crumbbed, so pork katsu = Bread Crummbed Pork
a type of mild spice
the reason it looks so delicious is because of the way they serve it.
@Coralys35 i know, i used to date a japanese who eats like a horse and stays thin like a baby. 6100 calories....OMG
Today I have eatean like 2700 and I am a big guy.
Kudos to this woman.
I wish I could try this curry with rice food.
that looks SOOOOO GOOD! :D
@Enotemusic That too.
Take the bicycle. America: Exercise and recreation
Japan and pretty much everywhere around the world: Transportation. xD
@SuperLoli101 i know

pure unadulterated insanity at its finest,
If it's yummy, then I can eat that too... Curry rice is my favorite food
no, he said:
"Donna katsu kare ga dekiagattanoka?!"
lit. "What kind of katsu curry will be completed?!"
I eat, at most, a lb or so of curry rice lol shes a beast. Yet she is so nicely mannered :)
I beg pardon? The manga was very well-researched. There actually was a section about Japanese curry, but I didn't recall it specifically. It was my own assumption that curry was more than a spice.
No, no, no...they said it and wrote it clearly, "torokatsu"
Her metabolism is fucking crazy...
That looks so delicious!
She does that because it tastes so good
OH god what is this program!?!? ive seen it with ramen too on another video, i would really like to know what the shows name is
This entire time I was amazed how big the spoon was O.o
@SuperLoli101 not to mention they have a much more physically active lifestyle than most other places.
I'm drooling like a dog. omg.
This video makes me sooooooooo hungry! Imma eat curry later! IM SERIOUS! I'll get ready to go out now tata
I think the things in the middle were actually fish. "toro" I think it said, which is a kind of fish. Plus, if you look carefully at the way the cut is layered, its more common in fish than in pig. o w o Just a thought.

IDK About You Guys But I Never Get Tired Of Seen This Vid xD
Also, I heard those people who can eat alot like her have slightly different Stomach mechanism than normal people.
no, fried stuff is thoroughly boiled pork which is very soft and extra fat drops
That fried stuff looked soo good....
Maybe breaded tofu....?
she really loves curry...
oh my gosh! :O that would be enough to feed my whole family!!! xD
being pregnant almost doubles a womans appetite so 6
That's a BIG spoon! LOL
I think I could eat that...if:
1.) I were distracted by friends. (Research shows one eats more if they are distracted and happy)
2.) It tastes good
3.) I haven't eaten breakfast or lunch.
GODDAMIT, i AM SO HUNGRY
I think its pork tonkatsu. God bless people born with 9 stomachs.
she is also close to 40 years old :-)
My mind is blowing, I'm hungry now
@Namaechan :Yes, the fried stuff realy looks very good!
What is this show?! It's amazing!
That's a yummy curry dish! So, I'll probably finish it too. Lol
deepfried stake beef thingy.
No, it's pork. Tonkatsu is breaded, deep fried pork, good stuff too.
japanese curry has veggies. maybe some don't, but i've had curry with carrots, potatoes, and takuan, and some other non-identified stuff.
That doesn't look like 3 kg of food, more like 1.5 lbs of food.
I know, I tried too. It was... weird... Seriously though, wouldn't tonkatsu taste better?
@dksapfl well its bound to get soggy even if it isnt in the curry because usually you use dipping sauce
Must have a high speed train diseal tank
omgg look soo good :)
do u think they do delivery
like to another country............ XD
@mazzmos Mother nature created things for man to create.
Saying to not eat man made items is the same as saying "don't eat that apple from that apple tree he planted, eat one that has been preserved for a couple of billion years"
lol thats the music from where???

@Coralys35 I think they are just built genetically to not retain fat... as opposed to being built American...
im so hungry ugh
All of this makes me so hungry...
I could do without whatever was fried.
that food looks like throw up
@Mrpoopoonoob This is an eating contest. NOT a formal dinner .____.
I've never heard of torokatsu....

正司さん可愛い~(*^-^*)

Pretty fast metabolism, I guess...I used to eat like a demon when I was 15 to 25, then I`ve started to go slow, now I eat 2.5 to 3.5Kcal, everyday... no soft drinks, no sugar, except my morning coffee with lots of cream and lots of sugar, but I got hungry watching this vid, damn!!!
