Also worth mentioning: Draculin blood is a perfect fit for the Styx fight. The movement speed lets you dodge notoriously tricky flip attack, and he summons two gargoyles, which are easily the one mob in the game you most need to use Bite against. The fight was practically custom made for Draculin blood.
x2 frost barrier on his spin attack and he dies, hes the easiest boss in the entire game esp on brutal cause the frost barrier does close to half his hp
@@daebibs Yes, frost barrier is the best way to damage him. But you can also cast frost barrier with Draculin blood, and even if you get perfect barriers with mad spellpower he'll still probably dip and summon the two gargoyles, who themselves will dip and heal when they get to feed%. It's just funny that Draculin blood is terrible but actually has a singularly effective use in a bossfight.
@@ProzacStylings he did summon gargoyles dont think u can by pass that, just mentioned the frost barrier thing cause i struggled with that boss in normal and was amazed how good it worked when doing another playthru on brutal and knowing the trick. the only thing thats more cheesy than that is pulling one boss into another and draining the loser :D

I’ve been loving this game myself. Even on console in a game like this. Style. Drip. Gameplay is scratching so many itches. The real only notes I have is, I wish there was more lore. Even darksouls type item descriptions or even books that maybe drop with defeat of enemies (good way to make an actual library in your castle! Love the “lore master vampire” archetype). And in vampire mythos there’s a trope of the village under the shadow of the vampiric overlord. Be awesome to have some kind of tribute mechanic. If either blood forma villager. Resources. Whatever. Great game. Even bought some dlc to support the devs.
Hey man, honestly I really thank you for these videos, as someone who just started i just beat the bandit king and moved into the farmlands but got real overwhelmed with everything, do you think you could make a progression guide? I don't mean a video on exactly what to do, just a general direction, like your castle video, maybe some tips on when is a good time to really start putting your castle together, i just kinda have all the starting crafting stuff placed around each other until I know what to really do
First step for every act Find the VBlood with a new ore Copper-Iron-Silver That was my game plan. I planned back in alpha, and just spent the last 5 days 100% the game on steam.
@@Siphx_n I made a "base" aka storage and that's about it than I ran all act 1 bosses back to back. Looting chests etc for weapons. Once I got to act 2 I move to the farmlands next to the vendors and I stayed there my entire playthrough. Also I played on a vanilla private solo server.
Definitely weird bot garbage. Something that is often overlooked, is that Ult spells like Chaos Barrage are boosted by scholar blood as well. You can, hypothetically, use 100% scholar blood for +25% spell power, use Artifact Reaper E to summon three skeletons, use Soulburn to consume them for +36% spell power, use Phantom Aegis for +25% spell power, and then Ult to do a chaos barrage that does just shy of 1500% spell power damage.
I only play PVE at the moment, I think I'd like to try PVP at some point though... maybe if I can commit to actually finishing the game... I also want to try Brutal, but I think that might just get in the way on a PVP server

No kidding. They're the only blood type that I don't have at least one at 100%, but they're doubly useful in other ways.

I would like that too. And why I should use them later on. I use mine for fish gathering and then I grind the higher "tier" material myself.
