Hellhoundz - The Battle of the Somme

First of July nineteen sixteen,
a battle is about to begin.
The whistle blows,
it's time to run to no man's land.
Twenty thousand will die in this battle,
the bloodiest day is about to begin.
French blue sky is turning into red blood,
the killing begins.
Bullets are flying over us like arrows,
machine guns spiting fire in the men.
Razor wire and flame throwers are waiting for them.
The months have passed the weather is raw,
we still alive in this hell.
An Iron destroyer never seen before
on Germans released all the rage
A mist of chlorine covered the field
silence precedes the attack.
The whistle again it´s time to go
unleash the blazes of hell
A seed of the demon was wounded in battle
but he’d survived for his future revenge
Grenades explode and I feel the rumble,
deaf, I don't know where I am.

they gave us the greatest battle of all.

It makes me hate to look upon the sun.
No blood, no guts,
No sounds, no movements.
Just the cold and dreary silence.
My eyes are too fogged to see the light.
My mind is too cluttered to think right.
I've tasted my own tears,
and faced all my fears.

The Gods of War showed no mercy,
they gave us the greatest battle of all.

We all die at the Battle of the Somme.
One million souls were lost at the battle,
tanks and cannons roared since the begin.
Bullets were flying and buried in the mud,
bayonets and bodies rotted to the end.
British and French advanced at one side,
but Germans resisted since the beginning.
All were defeated at the Battle of the Somme.
