Is that a full width air vent or is the centre piece just for aesthetic purposes?

+Carson Schalk this A4 is insane, a lot of new gadgets as you noticed in the video. But the exterior is not so different, the back looks sportier

Eminim bir sürü insan görmek isteyecektir. I think design of volkswagen cc r - line pack is one of the best ever made.
The interior is beautiful, but the center console seems to be very flawed in design. The cupholders sit so close to the HVAC controls that a tall bottle or cup would prevent their usage. Also, why is the MMI knob in front of the shifter? It seems like you have to reach around or over the shifter at an awkward angle to use it. The more logical layout would have been (from front to rear): shifter, cupholders, MMI knob.
+mk5721 do you ever stop moaning?
Then you'd have to reach behind you uncomfortably far to reach the shifter and if you have cups in the cup holders it would hinder your use of the MMI. you can rest your wrist in the shifter to use the MMI knob/touch pad (hence a flat shifter).
Mmi knob has best position available. Before i was thinking the same, but now, after owning the car for couple of days, it's just the best position. I naturally rest my hand on the gearbox switcher and use the know with ease.

I love the fact that you are in Europe and I can see all the sweet new cars before they come out north America but I also hate that youre in Europe because you get all the good stuff.. Like A4 tdi and diesel volvos.....
haha yeah, but msrp price in US is way lower than in Europe + engines in US start with 3.0 litres 6 cilinder? :D
plus we have high taxes in Belgium, and certainly in the Netherlands
Why don't they make the rear view mirror an actual High resolution video screen and have a rear pointing camera give a 180 degree view of what is behind you and not be distracted with the back interior or passengers heads.Maybe Audi or Mercedes could do this.
There are regulations they have to follow and meet. It has to have a rear view mirror. Which means it must be an actual mirror. Also if a camera goes bad all the sudden you have no rear view mirror.
Also, the rear seats and interior actually help place how far things are behind you and give you a sense of depth perception which is crucial for seeing behind you.
They need to release in the states already....
Why oh why NHSTA don't you allow matrix led in the USA?!?!
The US Version comes standard with 252 HP and 273 lb-ft Torque if anyone was wondering.
+Joe Guadagno there is also a 3.0 TDI with 272 hp here and one with 218 hp.

I would buy the C Class in this segment
The passat is actually based on the golf platform mqb and the Audi A4 is based on the new Audi Q7. Audi A4 and Volkswagen Passat is not build on the same platform.

+ImUtis 123 Jetta/Golf/A3 share the same platform. Passat shares the same platform as A6.

+Alaatin61 I know, but if in the USA a 2.0 TDI (if sold here) would be really cheap because it would be below the base engine we already get.

I hate that this car has the dynamic turn indicators that the A3 should have had, yet the dynamic indicators doesn't do this new A4 any favor, the car looks ugly.

Look at the A3 and look at this new A4. The A3 is the perfect compact design.
