at first i thought the weasel says "POP GOES THE WEASEL!" each time the theater moves to the right, but later i learned it moves when sam and ollie sing yankee doodle (with the words changed each time to reflect progression from one time period of music to the next)
This was so interesting to hear. I was born in Orlando & grew up at DWorld & have for the past 15 yrs. have been sharing a live musical pgm with schools in the NYC area called "The Great American Pop Show! A Lively History of American Popular Song." I have heard teachers comments about how it was Disney-like & now I understand those comments even more.
wish this came back but updated to modern animantronics and even the similar one to the new beauty and the beast ones. it would probably be not the rotating stage but the similar to the ones they use in the world showcase with one stage it would be easier.
It's a pity this went out of exist; the songs are really catchy! Then again, if America Exists didn't go out of existent, we might not have Splash Mountain.

pop gos the wizzel
How come the voice at 7:19 sounds different than the ride?
The one on the ride was a southern accent. The soundtrack version is a Mexican accent, but they thought it was racist so they changed it.
It was offensive so they changed it
It was changed into a Texan accent
