- This new acr build in xdefiant is meant to tackle the recent changes made to rapid fire and the lightweight barrel in season 2. Your best bet on the acr is to use lightweight, on smaller maps rapid fire is actually really good but overall, if you value consistency over close range TTK, the lightweight barrel is your best friend. Rapid fire is not that bad of a pick still, for some people it's actually buffed compared to S1 so feel free to try it out and use it with a full ads speed build :)

I tend to agree with this logic. I'm starting to notice a trend that XDefiant is trying to dial back things, to basics, to have you calibrate for the particulars, of either playstyle or gunplay. Even this build posted is a basic setup that's been around since the BETAs and ONLY the grip has changed, or a variant of a "stability attachment", to compensate for the background changes to reticle and recoil. I GUESS, it's "BACK TO BASICS" Season!...lol

Red dot disappearing? Never seen it but i think the only reasonable fix for now would be to load up a custom crosshair overlay
Lyzerrah try using any ADS flinch control attachments and see if it improves hit scan, or if it is placebo

Glad everyone feeling the same about S2. It's great BUT the game feels "off." Trading constantly and hit behind walls way way way worse

@@Lyzerrah Id rather not play atm. MP5 was slapping, now shooting peas and trading. same with every gun but its very noticeable there's so wider issue
before you weren’t trading properly because of the bad netcode, now that it’s fixed and you trade properly people complain that it’s fixed 💀

I’m close to unlocking the new camo but can’t play tdm because it boosts ur skill rating which is bad for ranked. Hopefully we have 2xp soon.
Gave this build a go --- it's pretty fun! The only problem I have with it is the initial shake from the gun but otherwise this feels really good.
Been trying out some of your recent builds to much success. Would you consider covering shottys, marksman, and lmgs? Or recommend some universal attachments to use with them?
I'll have to redo a bunch of my builds but I would use this build on both marksmans:
Heavy barrel
superlight
sight
fabric
lightweight stock
(you can also use muzzle booster, in exchange for the fabric grip)
M870 shotgun is good with heavy barrel + muzzle booster, although i would prob not use MB on it anymore, but you can build it for max movement speed, just use the HB instead of lightweight.
benelli you can stack with honestly anything, i would use a max movement speed build on it as well, same for the AA-12
LMGS:
Supressor
Rapid fire
superlight
3x (yes, it's currently bugged has 0 recoil)
lightweight stock
or you build it for max movement speed/ads speed

I don't think they have been nerfed, nothing mentioned about it in patch notes, I'm not home rn but I'm pretty sure they have 120hp too as well

buy an exitlag membership and connect to some regions close to you, just remember no one will be playing ranked rn, it's in a "for fun" mode

I figure I might aswell play high ping ranked to be able to do anything. If I was on controller pubs waits would be quicker but I play joystick kbm , so I won’t be picking up a controller anytime soon lol but yeah . 3 games. 3 hours today cos of input cross play
