I didn't expect absolute banger appearing in my frontpage from my favorite game in 2024, and bloody hell this is so damn good EBF series holds special place in my heart, and you did a mighty fine job with the remix Out of all EBF final boss ost, Fallen Blood is my favorite due to the weight of it and the duality inside Creator section shows desperation and devastating power of Godcat, then it shift to Destroyer section where the violin and flutes represent hope and resistance against all odds Third section really screams "Brace yourself" as you readies yourself to survive their combined power

Yep, this is actually pretty much how I made the third section. The first two parts were basically remixed directly from the original (with the exception of the middle section of Part 2), and for the third section I spent a lot of time figuring out the order of verses in order to both re-incorporate and expand upon all the motifs in the original song. Glad you liked it!
this soundtrack is just fucking perfect, i love how they are different for the creator and destroyer and is a meld of the 2 for the combined phases, listening to this has made me want to play ebf4 again lol i posted this to the ebf discord so it can get some recognition, if you want me to delete it or something just lemme know honestly just love everything about this, the backround music is perfect for the theme and i love when you know that the beat is about to drop all in all really good and i def hope more people will find this, just subbed and will check out more of your music later but its a shame you only have around 200 subs with music this fucking good

Why does everyone that mention oneself as a woman always has "dude" or "guy" in their names? I'm mentioning this because it wasn't the first time and definitely not the last. Another pattern I noticed is how the names are made to try really hard to convince others that the user is a man and stuff as much as possible lmao but this one here not really much just casual. I think this is now a starter pack for the women in the internet lol. 😂
I honestly almost never just sit down and just listen to a song, but honestly this song warranted it, I stopped what I was doing and took it in. Theres so much intent between each instrument and sections of this song. Wonderful song and even more amazing remix, hope to see more EBF remixes in the future!

Epic Battle Fantasy was a kind of zeitgeist of flash game JRPGS back in the 2000’s. It started as a simple and short mockup of them as well as early internet memes and culture, but each sequel was a huge upgrade to the previous one, with 4 and 5 being full-on games of their own rather than just homages. They are on steam in a collection bundle now I think.
I have never played ebf4 before (I only touched 5, which was the first one I knew of and got), but still loved this music. Glad to see revisits of the old games.
damn it's been almost half a decade. i almost forgot how damn good this piece was... the remix is a complete banger. just my two cents tho, the percussion seems to make some of the instruments...pulse a bit in a way that kinda bugged me. especially at the beginning when the drums came in (but i couldn't quite hear it after that). could just be me tho

Glad you're enjoying the remix as much as I am! Doing other EBF remixes is something that has crossed my mind a couple times, and I definitely won't rule it out entirely. That being said, unless I get a sudden burst of inspiration like I did for this remix, I'll probably be focusing my efforts on my bigger projects instead (YOMI hustle and Your Turn to Jam).

My only major feedback is that it sounds like you're missing a little bit of reverb in some key parts, but particularly early into waves 1&2. The synths end a bit flatly, though that's filled out nicely by the choir later.
Yeah, I can see what you mean. I potentially could have automated the reverb for some of the instruments so that they have more reverb when playing on their own and less when playing with other instruments (otherwise the sound would get a bit muddled). Thanks for the feedback!
