Bro, are you still around Bangkok ? this November, there is a Golden mount temple fair held only 10 days each year (from 8-17 Nov) it is a temple fair which has street food, rides, fairground game and the highlight is climbing to the top of the golden mountain to view Bangkok at night. Don’t miss it.

The Chinese who immigrated to Thailand are mostly Cantonese, Hokkien and Hainanese. These Chinese include Cantonese, Hakka, Teochew, Hokkien and Hainanese, totaling 5 major groups. There are many periods of immigration for various reasons. At least 300-400 years ago. There are records that the Chinese began trading in the Sukhothai Kingdom more than 700 years ago. However, it is believed that the settlement was recorded in the Ayutthaya period around 400-500 years ago. Therefore, the culture of the Chinese and food are mixed with Thai culture and food.😊

I think they are mostly Teochew? There were Chinese community in Thailand for hundreds of years but small numbers. The majority of them emigrated into ASEAN in the late 1800s. You can try asking them, they are likely 3rd-4th generations in Thailand.
