    Hey Haya. I'm a practicing clinical psychologist. I understand what you are going through. For starters, I would suggest you to not label yourself. I couldn't even count how many times you called yourself an overthinker in this video. Once, you yourself, are labeling yourself again and again.. you are reminding yourself to believe it. YES, you are on the right path if you aren't avoiding the situation and trying to tackle it. I would suggest you to get to know the root cause of the problem before getting on to the solutions. So maybe go to someone who pay help you with getting to the root cause. There should be no stigma attached to it. I am really proud of you for coming forward and sharing your story. Everyone goes through it at one time or another. YOU are NOT alone. YOU are a BRAVE soul. take care.

    The method that you shared is really good, one if my favorite writers who has anxiety and OCD shared it on her blog. She takes it one step further by saying that overtime, she decreases the amount of time she allows herself to overthink or obsess until it's down to like five minutes, then three minutes and so on. I don't know if this would work for everyone or whether it's even healthy for everyone to decrease the time like that since sometimes it's better to fully deal with that emotion or those thoughts, but here it is. I really like this vlog, Haya. In general I live your simplicity and honesty. We're all mentally disturbed on some level or the other because of the virus, you're not alone in this and I'm glad you shared this because it makes everyone else feel less alone as well. I hope it gets better for everyone.

    I can completely relate to what u r trying to say, as i am also an overthinker. Recently , my mentor adviced me to start "Journaling of thought", basically u write your thoughts which are constantly playing in your mind in a loop. Just write what is going on, if its a qs or a situation write it. Then asking yourself "kya iss problem ka solution hai?" ,if YES then why worry? If NO then why worry as well? and uske baad next time dimag me same chiz play hone lage just tell your mind...hey buddy don't think about it i have already written abt each n every possibility abt this situation or a problem in my journal ,i dont need to think abt it. I have been practicing this from past 1 month and it has helped. Like i am not depressing my self thinking abt problems n situation again n again in a loop. It gives me assurance and i feel my problems been taken care of ...n i just need to move along...just try it . I hope it helps. 😊😊😊😊😊

      Ye wala comment maine 5 min jab video k huye tab hi likh diya tha. It means what your mental health coach said and what my mentor said is almost same. Which means its a "great solution which works"..kyu ki aap Belgium me ho mai India me do alag desh k do alag log ek hi problem ka same solution batay ye ittefaak nahi ho sakta...tried n tested tarika hai pakka se. N what u said 15min se zada nahi...my mentor also said...duniya ki badi se badi problem ka solution insan ko 15 min me nikalna chahiye...people think bada problem hai so bada time lagega solution sochne k liye...par ye sahi nahi hai...15min k ander jo insan sochta hai na wo maximum possible solution hota hai kisi bhi badi problem ka. Aap sahi track pe ho...just follow your coach.

    Over thinking n anxiety is which I am too going through n not able to clearly express what my thoughts but to overcome it I do sketching and painting which also is personally making me feel positive about myself n thank you for this video I feel like I can relate to someone n it's okay to be an over thinker sometimes and we can over come it :) Also lysm❤️
