I’ve not tried this skin tint… and don’t think I’ll be wasting my money on it. Thank you for your honest input… usually if it doesn’t work on your skin, it doesn’t work on mine❤ and let’s face it… I can’t afford to give my hard earned cash to these companies if I’m not going to use what I purchased🤷♀️

I’m not a good judge, I don’t wear tinted moisturizers bc I have sensitive skin and stay with my routine. However if I were to use one, THIS ISNT IT. thanks for the honest review, it’s helpful, informative and genuine which we like. 🎉😊
Thanks for going through the tough review. It’s a big no for me. Also I hate those reviews! Every time I go on to look at reviews I click non incentivized button and it’s crazy how the numbers drop from 400 five star reviews to 42 reviews and half are bad ( not real numbers but showing example). I never trust just sephora I look at amazon TH-cam and Reddit. Regardless of the bad foundation you still looked beautiful.
agree with everything, many sephora reviews are influenster and other programs like that, I mean it's cool that people get free beauty products, but in terms of reviews I don't believe them, they are all positive.
Saaaaame! I check multiple retailer reviews and filter for non-incentivized only. It’s disgusting to have so many positive incentivized reviews swaying the overall results.

I have textured, acne prone skin with alot of dry patches around my active acne and i CANNOT use a brush or my hands. Sponge is a miracle it always lays everything so beautifully. Otherwise im a dry patchy dusty crusty mess 😂. Sephora reviews are A MESS there’s legit products with like a 1000+ reviews with 4.5 stars when you filter out free promotional gifted products its all one star and there’s 80 reviews left out of a thousand. It’s ridiculous so i just watch youtube reviews now. Like you that we can genuinely feel are honest and proud of their platform ❤
Possibly controversial opinion here…I purchased the skin tint in light 3 and the powder in neutral with my own money. I’m 40 with dry skin due to trentinoin use and probably a 3 on Fitzpatrick scale (for background). So I loved this. I was shocked watching some of the reviews because some hated it and others like it. Just wanted to add this. Maybe different batches or something? I just never trust Sephora reviews but did want to add my opinion as an actual paying customer. Love you Mallory!!! ❤❤😊

Thank you for this review, I was just about prepared to buy this blind after seeing other reviews, but that scent and stinging would have meant it ended up in the bin, as we can't return makeup in the UK. :)
I hate the free product reviews because it’s so true that most people won’t be honest and will just say they love it because they got the product for free. It’s really unfortunate because reviews can be super helpful if everybody just gives their true opinion.
And I think it’s hard to make your skin look bad because you have such nice skin, but I definitely think that this is not nearly as flattering as most of your other skin-based products. I just don’t think it enhances your skin the way it should… the match is nice and you still look good but between how streaky it seemed and the fact that it has fragrance I wouldn’t purchase it myself, so thank you for the honest review ❤

Hey Mal! What causes white freckeling? Always wondered that! So you feel the Yummy Skin would be better for oily gals? I have the Bobbi Brown and when it's set with my Huda powder, it's lovely!!
I’m not quite sure, but some products just really want to settle into larger pores! I do think Yummy skin is so much better, and would definitely be more oily skin friendly as far as lasting powder and no separation.

Does this have that "scent" to it that the face primer has? I had used Vitamin Enriched Face Base on and off for years without a problem, yet now it immediately makes my nose start running then eyes begin to water. I'm having to use as a foot cream now! LOL
I don’t know if it causes acne, but huge amount of my allergens in the ingredients list including fragrance.
I just bought this….aaaand it was a decision based on the 4.5 star reviews on Sephora, in my defense, I didn’t notice they were freebie reviews. I like a lot of this brand, so felt confident, tested it on my hand at the store and liked the way it felt….but didn’t notice all the fragrance in it until I got it home. Citrus oils, just like their Vitamin Enriched Face Base, which stings my skin. Not only is the scent awful, citrus oils can make your skin more photosensitive. I might just return it.
I came across the exact same issue when applying this skin tint. For whatever reason I cannot do skin tints, all skin tints do this for me.
Are there any brands that never seem to fail you?

I love the vitamin enriched skin tint. It works perfectly fine for me. I use it with powder.

A face-off with the new Hourglass skin tint?? I bought this but have only wore it once. I put it on quickly when I was leaving so I’m not sure how I feel about it yet.
YESSS🤗 They are pretty similar, and I have the feeling this will look better applied with a beauty blender. The smell is awful tho
New subscriber, this is the second video I’m seeing from you, so I’m not sure if you’ve already addressed this .. the alleyoop tinted sunscreen acts just like this. Blend it too much and it pills, don’t blend it enough and it sits on top and will smudge right off if you so much as look at it wrong. It gets sooo much hype on the ticky tocky and I swear I know how to put on makeup.
I’ve never tried that one, but sometimes it can be the skincare applied before that is the culprit. But sometimes it’s just a bad product lol! I tested the BB a few times with different skincare (another video coming) and it STILL did it😳🫣

Sephora has the option where you change the filter to ‘not gifted’ reviews. But I swear to you EVERY time I do that not one review comes up! Why even have a review/comment section if they’re all going to be glowing reviews.

Would you PLEASE buy and review the Face Halo Cleansing Balm??? If you go to their website, every 'review' is overly favorable. Not one negative one in the bunch. If you decide to try the product, you'll notice it's extremely oily, isn't water soluble, has scrubbing beads in it, and is STRONGLY scented! I left a review. Spoiler alert: it wasn't favorable. Surprise, surprise - it wasn't published, either 😡

Ugh I hate fake ads. I noticed scorolash has fake comments, so does breeze beauty balm. Both of those sucked me in until I realised how shit the products actually are then when I looked closely they were 100% fake comment bots 😮💨

This is stupid. I feel like this product is for someone with the perfect skin. Ya know, no pores, no dryeness, no wrinkles, no oil. My 5$ Wet&Wild skin tint lasts all day on my combination skin and never looks so bad!
