I'm absolutely so thankful for this video, I've been looking for the possible ways to get into a racing career for so long and have had my dream goal of being a race car driver for over 5 years and it's been my motivation always, Im thankful for this video because thanks to you guys, this is now the way im excited to get involved
@@Luxatio I'm currently in college studying mechanical engineering. I took the intro to engineering courses that my high school offered. Also I would definitely recommend taking calculus in high school. I did not and really regret it, and it will be very beneficial to you in college. Also I'd look for schools with Formula SAE teams which will give you some experience designing and working as part of a motorsport team. That is something I'm hoping to participate in. Hope this helps.
Man just go take a mechanical or automotive degree that never teaches you about racing enroll urself in college formula student team or baja sae team if not one create one just do student motorsport competition
You know this is beginning to feel like the college nightmare,4 years of school or more, graduate and your field is gone puff.F1 is the ultimate goal,no ovals main reason, but if I had to settle for lesser dream,it would be to drive for Porsche s WEC prototype, now a hybrid car,now gone Porsche pulled the plug this year, puff dream gone, and I haven't had much luck finding a 962 prototype to buy, good friend told me,you won't,they're all in museums...argh ya ya.Hey got a flashlight...this was very good advise all yokes aside,ya...ya...let me see
Would be nice to volunteer..if there were a road course anywhere near me.

Another great video which relates to my situation! I have great passion for racing and I hope I become a volunteer very soon.
I see, the hardest part in evrry carreer is to start, like, you need to find sponsors and get starting the pace for the steps to the top
This is a great video. Wise words from wise men.
I so want to volunteer at a racetrack! Hopefully playing Gran Turismo and Project Cars will help me lol
I wouldn't mind volunteering but I live no where near any type of serious race clubs or any where near speedway to do so.
Thank you for this video.
I’m going to college in a year. Any further advice from someone who is a Motorsports engineer on how to make it up the ladder?
I'm 14 man, I wish too do the same as you, did you study in high school? And if so what stuff did you look at?
