    Hello, beautiful video! I am planning a trip and I would like to know where they did that snorkeling?

      The snorkeling was done right from shore in Gili Islands just off the coast of Lombok!! You can see the giant sea turtles right at the beaches!! You are going to ❤️ Lombok

    Awesome
    I stayed in Lombok for a week in the Senggigi area a few years ago and did all the stuff in the video apart from hiking up to Mount Rinjani. I don't think the garbage issue was that bad when I was there but it has obviously got worse. I am planning to go to Lombok again next year so I am hoping that the government cleaned up their act by getting rid of the trash problems that has happened in Lombok and in Bali too in recent times.

      We absolutely loved Lombok. There is definitely a garbage problem in S.E. in general but it did not affect our time there. It's just sad. We also hope the government gets their act together soon. Enjoy your holiday and thanks for watching! 🙏

      Yes we hope that the government steps in and helps educate the people about recycling and how to dispose of the garbage properly. Other than that issue.... we absolutely LOVED our time in Lombok. Thank you for watching. We will be back again soon. Lombok has stolen our hearts ❤️

    Great video. Planning to go in few months. Which Gili was best over all? Is it possibly to do day tour on those Gili's?

      Hi there. Thanks for watching. You can definitely explore each Gili in about 1 day. Our fave was Gili Air. Less busy than Gili T but still great restaurants and bars and beaches!! Gili T is definitely for partying! Enjoy your holiday. You will love it there!!

    What would you say was your fravourite beach on Lombok?

    • @BrookeandJeremyAdventureAwaits
      @BrookeandJeremyAdventureAwaits  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Mawun Beach was literally empty and gorgeous but you are limited with food options/warungs.... our absolute favorite beach was Selong Belanak. Tons of warungs (restaurants), amazing beach with no garbage, rocks, and people trying to sell you stuff... plus you can learn to surf or watch everyone surfing!! You are going to LOVE Lombok so much. It is a paradise!!!

      @@BrookeandJeremyAdventureAwaits Cheers for the info. My sister and I will be going to Lombok for our first trip to that Island in May. Will be spending my sister's birthday there before heading to the Gili Islands. My sister loves beaches with beautiful views and laying for hours in the sun, so that seems perfect.

    I’m here now. So much trash everywhere. So disappointed here

      Unfortunately the people of Lombok don't have the education or government support to properly dispose of all the plastics. Hopefully things change for them soon. It's such a beautiful island with great beaches and lovely people!! Thanks for watching

    I would rather see rubbish burned, then end up clogging every drain and waterway, and making its way into the ocean.

    • @BrookeandJeremyAdventureAwaits
      @BrookeandJeremyAdventureAwaits  ปีที่แล้ว

      Definitely. The Indonesian government needs to do something to help educate the people on how to recycle or dispose of all the plastics
