Mike, you really helped me here! I put a new tire on my 2015 Vstrom 650 today and that retainer spacer had fallen out from behind the sprocket and I had no idea where it came from. You pointed it out first thing with this video! Thank you Sir!

How come you have a spoked rear wheel? Where did you get this? Please post links if you can.
Very late, but the Gen 2 V-Strom 650 has an XT version with spoked wheels.
