Hey Julian im the Security Guard that you gave your pre season tickets too 🎟️🎟️, you saw me almost everyday at stadium usually with mom, and then at the hotels at night sometimes we would work both in the sameday. You asked me if i could get the night of a pre season game off & if i had a girlfriend which i did then you gave me a pair of tickets.....i will never forget that & we had such a blast at the game too ! Your my 🐐 & it was a pleasure watching you on your first year befome a Hall Of Famer through your career, thank you for all the years, memories & those tickets meant alot too me !
@davidcalixte9785 he was totally down too earth bro, Tom told me I could call him Tom when i held the door for him, Gronk told me there was no way I had a girlfriend because I worked to much lol it was a pleasure working for these guys, I would always save the hotel lobby cookies for Kyle arrington & rip Ron brace
@JoshuaDaSilva-w6l rip Ron Brace for real. Gronk is the man, he was at MGM in Springfield and I was not paying no attention, his body guards were pushing through the casino and I got knocked down. Dude really stopped to make sure I was good. He didn't even need to pay attention to my dumb ass but I appreciated that
One of the most underrated Patriot greats of all time. He had such a big role in each of the the last 3 Superbowls that we won and the one that he (and Jules) didnt play in which was in SB52 - we lost.
wow i didn't even remember that Hightower didn't play that one. it was all about Malcolm not playing. no wonder the defense was terrible that game with those 2 guys out.
That superbowl is still a fever dream to me. Its the only superbowl i had to work, so i didnt see much of it, and looking at the stats the nxt day i couldnt wrap my head around it. Brady breaks his own passing yds record 0 punts and nick foles outguns brady? It still makes no sense to me. Totally forget hightower didnt play
@@AidanHolland he was for sure the defence as a whole was spectacular against the Rams, but the shoestring tackle on Lynch and knocking the Flacons out of field goal range with the sack were imo the key pivotal plays in both those games. Obviously in the ATL SB many other plays were made to secure that victory and Butler’s interception. But without those clutch plays by Hightower none of that happens.
That Hightower play with Lynch...he didn't just tackle Lynch...he had to shed a block by their LT and then engage Lynch and get him down. It was unbelievable! I also bought one of his "BoomTower" hoodies after that SB!
They ignore the fact that the Seahawks gained 4 yards on that play. To talk like Hightower "stopped" Lynch on that play is a gross overstatement. The Seahawks could have easily gotten into the end zone next play, but had to pander to the diva Wilson.
Dont'a had to benchpress Okung, LT for Seahawks (weighs 310), and tackle Beast Mode 1 - on - 1 when he had 125+ Rushing Yards for the Super Bowl. It's funny that the Falcons strip sack looked so basic but the dude was mad constient throughout his career. Size, speed and smarts. Crazy that he was drafted 25th that year. Thank you, NFL!
Dont’a is an absolute legend. Dude was a beast. Can’t remember the year, but I remember a game against the Titans where the o-lineman tried to bully Hightower and went helmet to helmet with him. Long story short, Dont’a was rooted and the o tackle got knocked out with a concussion. Might have been Lewan, not sure.
BB loved him some throwback old school type off ball linebackers. When the NFL was going with 6’1-6’2 230-240 lbs guys who looked more like big safeties BB had guys like Hightower ( 6’3 260), Collins (6’3 255), and Mayo (6’1 250). I remember at Bama on 3rd down Hightower was so versatile they would have him line up with his hands in the dirt 5 technique and rush the passer.
Boom tower made plays is every Superbowl winning team 2014-19 49- drop Lynch at the 1 yard 51- strip sack Matt Ryan which turn the game over 53 - whole defence was outstanding against that ram team.
I noticed bill moved Hightower on the edge in the falcons Super Bowl to wreck the outside run game of the falcons. That was huge for getting falcons off the field and pats more possessions
That Beast Mode, Dont’a insight was Damn gold … how many vids of Seahawks player saying … “run the ball” der … first time I’ve heard the possible reason why.
Is it sacrilegious to rank Dont'a right alongside Tedy as the most impactful LB of the team's modern era? They both made big plays in big moments, so I don't know. I don't know who I'd pick to start my defensive squad as I built a new team.

BB definitely had his fair share of misses in the early rounds but he usually always made up for those misses with finding gems in the later rounds and getting the most out of other team’s draft busts.
Bill could draft OL, DL, LB, and Safety with the best of them. Got better at CB as the years went along. Pretty good at RB, especially with finding late round picks. Actually if you look at his track record in the 4th round, it is wildly impressive.
@@barrettbrown-dc4npI know the 2010 draft he literally had 4 rookies making major contributions. Then he got Collins, Jones and Hightower in 2012 it’s BS how people try to discredit him so much
The strip sack in SB51 was the moment I knew the Patriots were gonna win. One of my all time favorite Patriots.
That game was fkin crazy. Like u said, as big time pats fans especially at that time i never thought the team could lose

We haven't had another linebacker like him since he left Bama. He was a literal defensive coach on the field
Foster
Guys like CJ Mosley, Foster, and Mack Wilson were close.
Except he couldn't cover or tackle in space

Hightower is directly responsible for 2 SB wins. Matty Ice still has nightmares
Actually 3. He was astonishing in SB 53 as well against the rams.
Falcons defense thought they had the game won at halftime. 😐
