I got a ton of knowledge from his free content and got better. Now I get to do it again with the members only content 💪 the bed fishers couldn't have come at a better time. I owe them my first tournament win credit along with the 2.7 whale and finesse jig heads. Only team to catch fish that day and I lost 2 out of the only 5 I got to bite.

Been teaching my dad about what you teach with new tech. he’s stuck on the 80/90’s era of fishing, so it’s troll along the banks, and set up on whatever bites type fishing with him😅
I used my fish finder to get him set up on some fatties out on a shelf and changed his mind on “dog days” of fishing 👍🏼

Thief neck, Caney creek flat by the camp ground, the giant stump bed and boulder field by the cut through and Deer point have always been a few places that hold. Sandy bottoms Christmas trees, and directly opposite Euchee narina stump bed on 18 feet. Did y'all see a bunch of fish with sores on their bodies? Anyways when it's bad it's real bad. But when it's on and they are pulling current it can be magical. And when the May flies hatch. Good luck as always.

If you ever go back there in September, the Okishira screw head with a 2.8 keitech is deadly there this time of year. We win most our tournaments there on it around wood mixed with grass.

What’s your guess on why the fish are so skinny on watts bar? I’ve noticed there’s starting to be some of those on downstream on Guntersville as well. I caught a fish on Guntersville that should have been 12 plus but was instead just under 8. You could have shaved with this fish it was so skinny. 2 of the 30 or so we caught that day was size appropriate for the time of year. I wonder is it something on the Tennessee river system that needs to be looked into

Ben how do they decide the boat draws at the tournaments? Did you go off dead last today? I don’t know seems like the last draw/first draw next day would be about worse draw you could get? Wanting to see you in the elites but regardless keep hammerin em

It's definitely crazy how just down river on the other side of Watts Bar Dam, you hit Chickamauga, and it's loaded with giants. Same water source, huge difference in quality of fish. Makes no sense 🤔

20 years ago Watts Bar was fun to fish for the obvious. I don’t know what happened to the population of fish. Fortunately I live down river near Chickamauga and it is still good but probably not as good as it was 5 years ago. Maybe it’s just me !

That was the skinniest ten pounder I have ever seen, usually they are fat mutants, that thing was long as hell and skinny, sick fish 🎣
Only 18 out of 172 guys caught a limit though 2 days.

I fished BFL this year and broke 2 rods. Lost a reel, lost a lot of lures and zeroed at weigh in...NEVER AGAIN.
