There should be a live action Broadway stage play to Thumbelina. I'm surprised there isn't one. This reminds me of a Broadway musical play. I would love to see a live action stage version of Thumbelina and sing Let me be your wings.
This movie is so beautiful and magical….I adored it as a kid and I still love it now. Thumbelina always reminded me of Wendy when I was little because she wore a blue dress and got to fly with a guy that I had a crush on 😂😂 I had a crush on Peter Pan and Cornelius around the same time when I was very little. This song is so beautiful and magical….It’s so fairytale like and dreamy…I love it so much. The entire soundtrack of this movie is amazing but this song takes the top spot in my opinion
Many songs from children's movies back in the day actually have powerful ballads in them. I feel honored to have grown up in the 90s when some of Disney's best masterpieces were released.
Whenever I hear this wonderful song, it reminds me of the nights my grandma sang it to me to help me fall asleep. I didn't know it was this exact movie and music from Thumbelina sung by Jodi Benson and Gary Imhoff. I still listen to the song to help me sleep or to relax after a long day of work! ❤🌺🌺
I don't understand why so many people overlook Don Bluth movies. Sure, a majority of them tend to be cheesy at times, but you have to appreciate the detailed work put into those 2D visuals and amount of drama long before Pixar.
