I picked up my new 2024 today. I opted for the aluminum wheels. Just looked a lot better than the steel to me. I must have that front rack and rear box you have. That looks awesome and is efficient to use. The background you used here is outstanding! Thanks for sharing. Cheers from Louisiana.
Great review, thanks. Nice to hear you’re loving it. Love my ‘21 Rubicon. Totally agree with you regarding Honda’s accessories. I bought the rear storage trunk. Expensive and small (can’t even get my helmet in it) but I love the fact I can take it off in seconds. I know you got new grips but if you do cold weather riding, I love my Honda heated grips. Toasty warm. Enjoy your ride. Looking forward to seeing new things you add.
@@poppymonroewild thanks for the kind words and same with your channel. I just added a new video. Sorry, but yes another LED Headlight bulb review. I think I finally found the perfect set. I really like these especially since the have a hi/low function and a focused beam.
If you dont have a passenger often get a trunk not a seat. I have an older trunk that's almost as big as your seat, it's about the same size as the rack. It holds double what a seat does, I can put a 50cc chainsaw in it with gas/oil with room to spare. I also have a smaller box on the front that fills the rack, I have room to carry more stuff than I need. I wasnt interested in hondas small expensive cargo boxes at all. I also run handle bar mitts like the ones for sleds, they keep your hands warm and dry in the winter.
Love extra space. I have two small kids that like to ride so i went with the seat. The honda boxes are so expensive, i 'm surprised there hasn't been an influx of aftermarket stuff that is compatible with the pro connect. Thanks for watching!
I totally agree .. how can such a popular 4 wheeler have such poor info in regards to the latch system .. I bought a kolpin storage box for back .. do you think binging the Honda latches would work … for example on your unit do you think you could if used those latches to connect your rear cargo box to the unit !? Thanks in advance
Does it feel driving between the 2 and 3 gear on new tires? I have the manual shift with stock tires and it small hills logging roads feels 2nd is max out and going to 3rd is to much gear for the terrain.
I can't say I've had that problem. Not that I can remember with tge stocks, and not with the new ones, if i'm in 5th i'll notice soms bogging on a hill. But i'm not exactly light, so it might just fell better in the lower gear
I have a 2020 foot shift rubicon. I highly recommend 26-27 inch tires, I prefer the gearing with my 27 inch tires compared to stock. I can now use low gear in mud and second climbing hills, stock I never used first and needed third climbing hills, it still hits the limiter easily in high gear going down a dirt road too. I have 27x9's front and rear on mine on stock wheels. I like the skinny rear tires, they dont rob much if any power and cut to the bottom of the mud quicker than a wide tire.
4 U bolts come with the nomad, including butterfly nuts and little plastic caps, but you have to drill your own holes in the nomad to fit your particular rack system. Thanks for watching!!
Thats a really good question. I honestly don't know. I've had it up to 60km/h but never really push it. Maybe I'll give it a go when the snow is gone and see how fast it will go. Thanks for watching!
The Rincon is 680, and hasn't been updated in years. Rubicon was a 500 until 2016, then moved the the 520 platform. Fourtrax is also available in the 520 variant but comes with single axel rear end. Thanks for watching!
So true about the Honda Accessories! I paid over $500 for the plastic storage box that mounts on the back ! What a rip!
Yep !! They are crazy!
Good vid. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching. Appreciate it.
Nice! Thanx for sharin'!
Have the same atv, have to look into the tires and grips. Looking good!
Thanks! new tires made a big difference! enjoy! thanks for watching.

The pro connect is super convenient, but my bank account doesn't seem to care. I like your channel, been following for a while. Thanks for watching!

You had to drill for the u-bolts to fit in the Honda rack for attaching? Much appreciated
Yes i did. The box doesn't have factory holes. Its super easy.
@@poppymonroewild gotcha, installed mine about a week ago. Pretty nice.
Great video, makes me want to buy a 4-wheeler!! Great looking machine.
Money can't buy happyness, but it can buy a fourwheeler and it makes me pretty darn happy! Thanks for watching!

You probably could. The hardest part would be aligning the latches to the holes. They fit very snug.
Just ordered a 2024 Rubicon. What is the model of the rear box/seat you have and where did you get it?
It's a kimpex nomad, and I got it from fortnine.ca.
@@poppymonroewild thanks
🤦♂️
Do you have any rear-end noise on yours at high speed mine is branew and having some bad rear-end noise
No rear end noise at speed
Does the Rubicon come with a 12 volt outlet or do you have to install that yourself?
Comes with.
i like that storage box
125mm or 130mm on the hand grips? Thanks.

How did you install that kimpex nomad on that Honda. U bolts or drill holes?

Can someone explain to me what the high and low of a 2022 honda rubicon 520 is for?
You serious, Clark?
@@Icutmetal I only know that it is for more strength or when you are going uphill. Haah
What storage box is that?
Hey! It's a Kimpex Nomad rear trunk.
You didn’t watch the video?
Since when does Honda make a 520 Rubicon it’s always been a 680 to my knowledge. Give me some info.

nice
Great video... nice rack...and ODI's for the win! (Was hoping for a blooper reel at the end... must of been a one-take vid)
Hahahha the blooper roll on this one was lame. Just me sitting in front of the camera looking confused ahahahhaha
Their rear cargo box is 599 dollars! Ridiculous!
No gun rack? LOL
