    Thank you for the great lectures, I really appreciate them! Although I do not understand why use a portrait of Mona Lisa as a comparison to a landscape painting. Shouldn't we compare landscapes with landscapes?

      The point was the dominance of the person in the west, as opposed to the dominance of nature in the east. Very simplistic but clear.

    Thank you for your amazing lecture. I'm speaking from Portugal and I'm currently working on my master's degree in traditional japanese architecture and it's contribution to contemporary architecture, and one of my case study projects will have to be Fukuoka Housing by Steven Holl, since is very much influenced by the fusuma. May I ask you two or more projects as influenced by this particular notion of space transformation? Thank you and best regards
