If you E a champ on darius and don't touch your mouse it will automatically AA them, no need to click beforehand. It's QoL feature so you don't misclick a minion
You can auto w q faster than that. Once you start you W you can use your Q and the W will still hit the enemy.

I actually made a series of experiments with my friend recently and both trundle and warwick have stronger lvl 1 all in. Warwick with barrier and trundle with ignite. It might be partially due to them taking lethal tempo which is better in all in fights early than conqueror.

picked up darius a bit ago, played him a lot and i really struggle with winning games where i have 2 loosing lanes with me (or even just the botlane / jng).
Any tips on what to do after getting 1-2k to make that better ?

So what build is better? This or your last phase rush one?
Phase rush is needed if enemy has some kind of slow that will ruin you, like Nasus or an ashe, otherwise Conq is way more damage / having ghost flash is good enough, darius jg is a diff story
Yeah the Darius vs melees is kinda one sided, except kinda Jax if he gets ahead. Vs ranged they are annoying. Vayne and quinn specifically.
I feel like Darius R does WAY too much damage considering how many other high damage sources are in his kit

How come no Divine Sunderer? When i got back into the game i discovered it thru porofessor, it was recommended for darius. Now its not, and i get flamed in my games for building it
divine sunder is best on darius IF YOU HATE activatable items, if you forget to use them then yes just go divine, otherwise the slow from stride holds them still for you
@KingStix Gaming Thanks for the insight, I should try it soon. I'm not sure how much healing I actually get from it but I like the idea of the sustain from divine sunderer which is why I've stuck with building it
If you don't like stride breaker trinity is often the superior choice. If you play a very split pushy play style for the majority of the time Trinity force will be superior to stride too.
I play a lot of Darius top, but my play style is extremely split pushed focus. While Darius split pushing power isn't as strong as let's say a yorick. He has a very good team fighting kit, which means I can split push between objectives, assert pressure, and still help with drake's and others objectives, this means you can still claim objectives even if your team is behind. If the enemies choose to 5v5 instead of catching top waves. They will fall behind on exp and gold. Since you've already caught the waves and usually turrets. This will grant you a win on the team fight. While I feel like trinity doesn't give the same front lining abilities as stride does (as trinity only gives you mobility, allowing the enemy team to kite back and away from your team) the turret taking power and pure dueling in sidelanes is just too strong for me to give up unless it's vs a high mobility team with a lot of ranged champs
Think swiftness boots would've been quite strong here, since their cc was dodgable, except for Thresh E, which applies slow. Would help against CC setup slows and with dodging skillshots + easier to run morde down.

Sett have a very strong lvl 1 too, you must abuse ut against mele if you are sett

Great informative video as always. Darius loses lvl1 to Urgot if he hits the flip. Also depends on the enemy position. If they don't run but instead fight you on their minions while out of range of your minions you will lose lvl1
just buy the armor item that cost 1000 gold it counters him, urgot will do negative damage
@@t1rke Notice lvl1 in the comment 🙃I was referring to Stix comment about the fact Darius wins lvl1 all in with every champ. However - Yes, Warden's counters Urgot really hard. Very good item.
@@CostelloDamian Oh yea if u mean level 1 darius wins if he dont let urgot E him and bennefit from his passive but urgot can easily win especially with ignte
trundle can also just straight up win the lvl1 fight without any minions, cause he has the best lvl1 out of any top laner
but the silver s of today are the diamond 1 of 5 years ago, so when ever a youtuber say this is how to win evy game as darius im like ... yea but naa man hahaha wont be that easy
