You saw young people filled trying to be like a gospel singer or a drum, bass player. But it was such a wonderful wonderful experience to have sung and imitate the seeds these artist put in so many gospel artist then & today. RIP Mr. Joe🧡

This is Michael Cook. He joined some years after Paul Beasley s departure from the group, to embark on a solo career. Michael sung 1st tenor ; the same as Paul Beasley. He sung and recorded for several years with the Mighty Clouds before his sad, and untimely, death due to a reportedly, massive heart attack.
I am so proud to say I got to see the Mighty Clouds twice and got to meet and greet Mr. Joe Ligon both times. "What a legendary artist and group."
