What should I do if I lost my gmail and the hacker changed the password and linked an authenticator app?
@cantn763 Get help from @TeamTH-cam on Twitter (it's X now). Remember to sign in Twitter with another email address or just create a new account if you signed in Twitter with your lost gmail. They will ask you to fill out a form and submit your information and disable your gmail. Then they will send you an ultimate recovery email and you can recover your gmail.

Glad you're back Andy, I was so shocked when I saw the videos the hacker posted and reported some of them saying it wasn't you and tried to reach you on Twitter but couldn't... sad that someone could do that to you
Great to see your account back. Thanks for posting this message. I didn't realize hackers could get around the 2 factor authentication stuff by stealing cookies and using that instead.

I have to say, Gmail is so trash, ill admit, I should have made my password stronger at the time but now I can't recover my Gmail because someone changed the recovery email and so far, after research, the account is lost, basically Gmail lets people steal others accounts and let's them get away with it.

If you got such a e-mail on PC and opend it, can you also just unplug the PC Internet connection cable, change on your phone the password and kick out your PC from your Google account?
That may work. But you need to finish these at the first time you are hacked, you just have 30 seconds or less. My account was hacked and changed the password in two minutes.
I received several of the same emails, and text but luckily for me I don't have a Netflix account. Still at first I wondered if there was some type of mistake since I received both email and text.

@@hasanmahmud4665 yeah there is, its been 5 months since ive been hacked. I just got norton premium, it cost $200 dollars though and it just deleted the infected file. Hope this helps 👍

Thanks for your help, Andy. But just to let you know, if Team TH-cam doesn't find activity they deem suspicious on the TH-cam account, they will not help you recover your gmail account. My phone was stolen and 2-factor authentication was changed as well as my password and recovery emails. I've tried account recovery many times. Does anyone know of a workaround here?

I don't know what to do for myself yesterday i got notification from Google that someone is trying to get in my Google account and Google was asking for authorisation and i declined and i thought it was a bug or something but today i got another notification saying someone has my password and is trying to log in my account and i again changed my password but i don't get and after studying some google is saying that my info has breach on dark web i can't understand what's happening

I may ASSUME that you have to be connected to the internet to let hacker collect your data. So I would just turn off the internet for my computer and use my phone to change the password. It would be even better if you do a recovery backup for your wimdows so that you can just go back to one day before. All your files are still there but the virus is gone. Anyway that's my assumption, because last time I got jacked I was able to defeat the hacked within 10 minutes by using google account recovery website, another time I got some kind of virus so I just entered the system in a save mode (internet off), copied all the necessary files to my usb drive and reinstalled windows completely.

Did the gmail account you provided youtube team take you to ''recover a hacked youtube page'' or to a form to fill in. Mine is taking me to account recovery for gmail. Its not useful given the hacker already changed my log ins for the account. Nice video

I really doubt that you can change the password to your Gmail before the hackers. Most likely they have a automated program to do it for them, not manually
Normally, that is impossible. You only have several seconds to changed the password, and you need to faster than the hackers.
