93 was a dope year. The golden era was 87 to 96 with 87, 88 and 94, 95 being the 4 foundation years I would say. 91 was incredible too. Check out some mc shan, above the law, epmd, tribe called quest, Slum Village, and the song...wrong side of the tracks by the artifacts . About graffiti bombin.
I remember this was on the soundtrack for Batman and Robin and being hyped to go see the movie when I was younger..
The movie sucked, but the song was a hit under The Art of War album and helped the.movie soundtrack make some sales.
Fun fact about this song. It’s a diss track track towards Twista and the speednot mobsters. I wasn’t aware of it at the time. I was in a van back in 97 with twista and speednot mobsters and they were talking about it. Now when I listen to the song again, I can hear it.

_Even though Krayzie Bone verse on this album release was hard I still prefer the radio edit version. Krayzie Bone has a more humanistic version with the radio edit. Nevertheless, Krayzie Bone was going in against the speed that mobsters his verse was so hard and Direct They needed him to do the verse over for a radio edit version. Otherwise it would’ve turned into a real serious beef._
