I frequently listen with folded arms, but open mind. There are over 50 body-language meanings of folded arms, most of them are self-comforting. So I hope Swamiji doesn't take my folded arms as a sign of disrespect :)
It was wonderful experience for me to attend these sessions on 21st July at the Ashram on the Guru Purnima day. Although I watch recorded videos most of the time, it was a great experience to be in the presence of Swamiji and other devotees. Like he mentioned in one of the sessions it was like a dream come true (pleasant one!) and also I believe that it happened because of my past punya karma and some will power and lot of blessings from God 💌
That happens in catholicism too ... I immediately think of my mom with what you say ... she just sits back and whatever is said is without thought ... I am the opposite, I question everything everything being said, no matter what religion ... I like talking to children about spiritual matters because they too are so inquisitive
Radha , Raskreeda etc are later additions to the life of Srikrishna. Most likely it’s during medieval times & generally attributed to a saint poet Surdas. This is my understanding forgive if wrong.
A follow up on the question on Radha - When the people following Gaudiya Vaishnavism and other Bhakti traditions declare Radha to be a historical figure, their intent is to spread Krishna Bhakti - which is good. However, there are several evil groups in the world who try to use such texts to create an image of Krishna as a lover, who teases and roams around with girls and does all kinds of things. This is not acceptable. So, isn't it our duty to ask the people claiming Radha to be history to provide proper scriptural evidence for the same?
I am humbled by my ignorance and so very grateful to be able to receive the knowledge of Advaita Vedanta ... in time, because of not being afraid of self inquiry or asking questions to reach this wisdom, but... yes, 😁 I will go 🙏🪬🙏
