Have you been hitting the gym mr Tedesco? Keep at it, get absolutely hench... no one expects a massive guy in a string vest to also be a machine on the piano. I'd love to see that.
I totally agree! And it's nice to see some behind the scenes bits now and again. Reminds us that Frank is indeed human (and not some robot even though sometimes it seems like he is). 😊
@@diynevala most songs are in a particular musical key, every key has a root (or tonic) note, and most songs end on that note as a way of wrapping things up in a way that's pleasing to our brain. This is variously referred to as "coming home" or resolving. A good song will build up tension and release it, possibly several times. Returning to the tonic is just one way of releasing that tension. Corollary: you can often figure out the key of a song by seeing what note it ends upon.
@@Hakucho64 Thank you for the explanation - I was suspecting something of the kind BUT. I kinda hate these kinds of unnecessary rules. That track ended just perfectly, although he could have let the last notes decay (or sustain?) for longer. What I think is much more important (and irritating) point is when Frank plays some beautiful track absolutely perfectly, and in the end he kills the mood with an unnecessary note (by hitting it way too loud or fast).
From 07:43 Frank shows his real talent. The ability to stay focused and keep in mind the main melody of each of the three songs he's mixing, without loosing the musical key, going back and forward between the songs and making it sound like one... I'm telling you, not everybody can do it. Frank you're such a great musician, I have so much respect and esteem for you! Thanks for sharing your incredible talent 🎼🎵🎶🎹🙂💙AL
8:28 Frank is absolutely in the zone! You can see his smile when he looks up and sees the guy is still there, witnessing Frank's masterpiece. Love you!
"Through the Dunes" is actually so good. I dreamed myself back to the days in Al Kharid in RuneScape as they have some similarities i think. Perfect video as always Frank! Thank you!

I'm 30 and played on and off since I was 3-4 years old, graduated, but you will never fail to impress me. The mashup was a masterpiece and a display of true skill and talent.
At this point I've seen most of Franks videos, and this one above all seems to truly show his skill. Between self-composed technical but pleasing music (Through the Dunes), and the ability to mash 3 songs on the spot, the depth of musical understanding and experience he possesses really shows. Keep being awesome. Love the videos and the streams.
I LOVE the dichotomy between the 2 friends at 14:00 The blonde is sitting there enjoying a show, vibing, having a good time (kinda clueless, no offense.). MEANWHILE, The brunette is mindblown by what is happening and how he is playing these notes and this song without ever practicing it once... THANKS again Frank!
While you were playing "Through the dune".. I was imagining sand.. and Arabia kinda vibe.. and just desert appears.. hahaa , that music was truly top notch. ❣️
I can't get over the fact that you're so nice to everybody and hang around to chat so often. Same goes for many of the strangers too of course, the last guy was really genuine. And the music was chef's kiss as always, the mashup bro..! ❤
I've been watching you for a long time now, but that mashup was something truly incredible. That guy gave you an opportunity to level up and I love the fact that he was encouraging like "you got this!", and then you grabbed that opportunity and took it. We literally watched you get better in real time.
1:55 - Never play the tonic, Frank is doing right! If you give the last note then you give your audience a closure, which means they will move on and forget about the playing. But the way Frank does, you are reminded.
Didn't realize it when I initially subbed to your channel, but after hearing your song Through the Dunes, you've definitely done some jams for video games. Love your style, love your music, and your attitude is inspirational.
I must have come back to this video 10 times today. That mashup was absolutely, insane. Blew my minddd. I love that it was followed by Mary had a little lamb too hahahah
everyone’s talking about the mashup which was INSANE, but his original he played is absolutely phenomenal. It’s an entirely different skill to be able to write music and that’s super impressive

Liked the conversation with you and Cameron at the end. I agree, a nice lad. I know you're out there grinding and I respect that but as you know, you bring a lot of joy to people with your talent. Nobody needs a 4 million dollar mansion (still wouldn't say no) but to make a living from making people feel positive, driving inspiration, lifting someone up that really needed it that time, that's a blessing. You're living the dream Frank, remember this on your low days. I wish you all the very best.
Watching peoples faces go from disinterested to enthralled to euphoric will never get old. Plus the music always slaps. Best content on the tube by far.
Mr. Tedesco. As a musician myself of over 30 years, a pianist (decent one) and a percussionist, you have a gift my friend. I as well can somewhat play music by ear so I have a pretty good understanding on how much time and dedication it takes to do that. Well done sir.
I have an idea. When people don't know what song you should play. Ask them for a simple melody or let's say three notes. And then you do a song out of it. Like Harry Mack does his improv with three words.
I don't think it can be overstated how skilled you are at piano. I'm always amazed by these videos, but I can't imagine how you just did a mashup so well on the spot!
Everyone praising the mashup which was amazing, but through the dunes has got to be one of my favourite compositions ever! Completely teleports you and tells a story, sets a scene, like what music was made to do! Thanks for blessing my ears Frank!
You are an amazing piano man!!!! And it's so funny that you had an AG1 Advertisement on as I was drinking my AG1. I have been drinking this for over a year now and it's the best Vitamin and mineral drink I have ever had I love it.
Dude that "mashup"... Soooooooo smoth. I am in awe! This is amazing! In the future, you should ask people to request 2 or 3 songs and you combine them on the fly. 🤣

Wow
that mashup is FIRE, please do more of these, you could ask people for 2-3 songs, thanks, have a good day!
I wouldn't have even tried to mash those songs. Frank that was so impressive. You really are the GOAT
Your original song "through the dunes" sounds like it should be the boss fight theme on a desert level in a Zelda game.
wow that mashup was truly incredible
Agreed. First time I think he's gotten a Mashup request and that was one of his best ever songs
Mashups should be a recurring thing-kinda like how Harry Mack asks for 3 words, Frank could ask for 2-3 songs 😌
Insane!!
Yeah, absolutely the most amazing thing I've seen in one of his videos.
dude he blew me away more than usual. Guy is insanely talented and humble
This editor deserves a raise. The edit of him resolving Clocks was priceless!
I totally agree! And it's nice to see some behind the scenes bits now and again. Reminds us that Frank is indeed human (and not some robot even though sometimes it seems like he is). 😊
I did not get what the editor meant by that.

At least Frank is subverting expectation and uh... making people uncomfortable 😅 I always just add the tonic in my mind anyway haha

It was really incredible to watch
I think it's the most impressive thing yet, and I've already been blown away by everything else
what do you mean by losing the musical key?
@Feeber I mean without loosing track of what the main key is, maintaining the same tonality
@@alpiano353 keeping the same key throughout all 3 songs is A LOT easier than constantly modulating between 3 different ones
That mashup was insane, especially managing to incorporate a song you've only just heard is incredible!
The mashup is a masterpiece, nice to have an unusual request like that
The mashup of another love/zombies/bohemian rhapsody was absolutely insane. Frank continues to amaze :)
What a wonderful mashup between those recognizable songs. The blend and mixture was a pure masterpiece!
That mashup made me forget I had lunch sitting in front of me. You are masterclass Frank! That was incredible!
I fucking cried to be honest
8:45 That mashup was like one of the most impressive things i've ever heard.. Mind blowing and jawdropping.
Holy cow, that mashup gave me chills all over my body! THAT's true and pure skill of another universe!
8:37 dw bro I didn’t miss you sneaking a bit of black ops 2 in the middle of bohemian rhapsody that was insane
Through the dunes is probably my favorite piano song, very nice job as always, Frank. Thanks for making our day better!
It gave Zelda vibes.
It's truly otherworldly
8:28 Frank is absolutely in the zone! You can see his smile when he looks up and sees the guy is still there, witnessing Frank's masterpiece. Love you!
The mash up was INSANNEEEE
Now we need a full video of you asking people to request TWO songs :D
"Through the Dunes" is actually so good. I dreamed myself back to the days in Al Kharid in RuneScape as they have some similarities i think. Perfect video as always Frank! Thank you!
I love it when you actually witness people's souls being recharged. It's genuinely a lovely thing to watch.

I LOVE that when he said "impress me" you played an original song by you. And huge props to the fan for suggesting a mashup!

Honestly, that mashup is a true testament to Frank's genius.
Probably your most technical display I've seen, and I've seen a lot of your videos. You are truly great at piano and entertainment John/Frank. :)
Just speechless about the mashup. You're extremely talented. Thanks for the content.
5:29 That is boss fight music right there!! Not sure but it kind of sounds like a song from one of the Zelda games.
Frank, you killed that mashup! Amazing!

I was not expecting that level of mashup it really showcases you are on whole different level😊
I was just about to comment how badass the mashup part was, but apparently everyone else felt the same way. Frank always impresses.

Frank, you are genius and insanely hard working guy! Thank you so much for what you doing! This is one of the most amazing things I ever seen!
Bro you never stop to blow my mind🤯🤯that mashup was insane
Love that mashup, keep coming back to it even 3 months later. Thank you Frank! You’re amazing
Nah man you rose to an unreachable level with that mashup. That was insane.
This is one of the greatest videos you guys have made! The zany parts were extra zany, the editor insert was hilariously good, and that mashup!!!
god I literally got jumpscared by this underwear monstrosity lmao
I love that you can see when it's one of someone's favorites or cherished songs, their eyes just light up. Love it!

Thank you for being there, Frank. Your videos allways make my day. Your are the best, man. ❤
Frank has found his next thing. Mashup truly did stand out. Watch every minute of every video as they come out but that was unique.
The solo of the sponsor part was incredible

"Through the Dunes" was fuckin fire holy shit
More mashups, omg that’s incredible. Theory and ear meet hands meets independence. Chefs kiss on that one
I live for the editor cameos.
Dude that "mashup"... Soooooooo smoth. I am in awe! This is amazing! In the future, you should ask people to request 2 or 3 songs and you combine them on the fly. 🤣
You should make your own mashups and ask viewers to guess what you are playing.
excelente artista!!! hugs from Argentina!!!
that mix of another love, zombies and bohemian rhapsody actually gave me the chills!
its amazing how i get surprised every video...
Keep up the fantastic work!
