Thank you so much for these old memories! I spent hours listening to the radio on Long Island in the 60s and 70s. I'd tune around at night to hear stations from all over the east coast and as far west as Ohio, etc.
I grew up listening to WABC, WFIL & the last dying days of WIBG... living halfway between NYC & Philly made for some great listening & childhood memories 🎶😎🎶...thanks Ellis!
@@EllisFeaster well if so then the people who worked for them at the time did them for someone else because I heard at least 7 that had the same type jingle as WABC I am 66 years old and remember Music Radio WABC , WMCA WOR FM and a few other Stations. Please listen to them again for my curiosity.and oldies fanatic. What I heard was the same voices that Jam used . I also Remember Big Dan Ingram talking about them back in August 1985 when WCBS FM Had The Rock n Roll Radio DJs Reunion that Weekend , When The DJs From WABC & WMCA Were put Together For One Big Weekend And Turned Them Loose. I Know you have a lot of great memories logged into your channel and you know what you have. I now live in northern Indiana & miss NY Radio Including Cousin Brucie .😎🎵
@@curtisziegler3934 They are mostly PAMS, Pepper Tanner, & Drake Mann jingles, but they could share some of the same singers as Jam. Jam Productions did not come along until the mid 1970s.
@@EllisFeaster Ellis I have an interesting question : do you know anyone who has a copy of Nashville Blues by Tommy Zane ? My brother has been looking for it for years, if you know someone that has it please let me know thank you so much ☺️
What a buffet!! Gives me goosebumps. Thank you for making and posting this wonderful compilation! 📻📻📻
Another good one. Who needs a way-back machine when we have you.
I only knew of WFIL, since Ellis's channel I've picked up many other favorite "stations"! This was tasty! This even had WINS and KLIF!!!👍🏼
Thanks for the blockbuster jingle montage

Great Montage⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Great (montage)💯⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Enjoyed the jingles from NYC and Philadelphia.
Wow!
A whole lotta PAMS, Pepper Tanner, and Drake/Mann jingles in there!
1:13 The true sound of Philadelphia
Especially enjoyed 5:30-6:07 (WCBS-AM and ABC Contemporary).
Now this is mafia 1 and 3
What is that music playing in the background? 5:50
Thats the CBS Radio Sounder
Who were the people who sung those intros?
All the Jingles Were Done By Jam In Dallas Texes
@@curtisziegler3934 Don’t think so. Jam did not exist when most of these jingles were produced.
