Very very nice , how many layers of gelcoat should be used and how many layers of fiberglass should be used to achieve the right thicknessy ?.
And what should be the sufficient thickness of the body for this boat or for an even bigger boat? ..

1rst resin 2nd fiberglass chop 3rd resin 4th roll out air bubbles.... just 1 layer of the chop which is fiberglass hairs.... 5th lay fiberglass mat which is sheets of stronger fiberglass 6th more resin 7th roll out air bubbles and they probably do 2 -3 layers of the fiberglass mat

that laminating fiberglass is easy.... the shit I do inside the yachts is a lot harder bc it's hot and your in tight spaces where you can barely move

Thickness of the chopped layer can go from 0.5 mm to 3 or 4 mm depending on the caracteristics of the resin and % of mekp.

I wouldn't let that dude roll the resin on my boat. That's exactly how not to do it correctly. He is introducing air bubbles not getting rid of them, lol. Less coffee for the dudes with slot rollers.
