Man in my opinion rick riordan is the best writter like he's playing 3d chess while our mind can only perceive 2d chess. He slowly positions his piece over all the books to lead to perfection. One of the best examples is the percabeth relationship he slowly set them up in life threatening situations and traumatising situations setting up there friendship. Then in this book he takes them apart when they shouldn't be heightening the emotion percy has for annabeth. That then permanates the emotions. He sets this up over 3 books of content like just think about that
