I've just started in EDF 5, but I have to admit I've fallen in love with the Depth Crawler. 2 powerful guns with independent firing, but the thing that made me sit up and take notice was the Machine Gun. Lots of ammo and it turned a bunch of Spiders into Grape Juice in seconds. Yes the Camera is jittery as hell etc etc, but I've been sitting here thinking of ways to use the Spider Climbing to do various interesting things. It's also pretty fast moving if you move diagonally. All in all I think I'm in love.
Could not agree more with the detector. Underground it is absolutely unmatched. And even above ground you can shoot at the hordes and the crowd control is insane. It even is useful against dense clusters of wasps since they have such low health.
+1 for the Vesta bombers. *Really* useful for missions involving lots of ants and spiders as they just rush straight into the flames. The first few DLC missions comes to mind. Easily doable on inferno with Vesta bombers even with armor just fresh out of hard mode.
As a new air raider I find myself spamming 3 gunship abilities (2x Gunships with 1 ammo and 1x Gunship with 6 ammo), thanks for the vid, will try out some new things.
What's the best way to farm lvl 60-80 weapons? I was doing the usual inferno farming (the mission where u go to garage)... But does this miss out on certain weapon levels? Thanks
If you have dlc I like dlc 1 4 on inferno or dlc 2 9 on hardest, for the main campaign , if you play on hardest the weapons drop 5-15 levels lower than the weapon limit, on inferno they drop about 10-30ish below the limit. anyone has any idea why the air raider's best blacker tank (32k health) dies in one attack from a pillbug, but a nix mech with 72k health takes only 300 damage?
My problem with them is that they only last a couple minutes after you deploy them. If they didn't have a timer I could see a bigger use for them. I don't use them much but I'm sure they have some uses in strategies

The edf series are so underated
Love the robot bombs, but they sometimes freak out in caves and try to go through walls to get to enemies.

Absolute bunker can be mobile if you put it on the head of a team member. Also tanks. Its like a 27.000 health increase.

Thee X9 km6 attack covers a huge area and can kill a ton of drones without hitting your teammates since its a strafiing run

2 of them are 60 seconds 1 is 40 and 1 is 20 I believe
I like using the splendor it's my favorite it shoots out bullets in all directions when detanated

ESP effective in caves... it’d pretty much a claymore launcher.
I think the spritefall mode beta is underrared and good for missions with lots of flyingng types. The fast shot speed is better than the gunships.

I've never used Prison before. Do these allow you to shoot past them (like enemies can with Shieldbearers)?

Sounds like a glitch, pill bugs do only 3 or 4 k on inferno

Yes, it seems that decoys only act as a NPC and nothing more
They seem to take reduced dammage from ze guns, so they can be used with flame frower type ze guns. I uded it in 101.
