All music and imagery is used under fair usage laws. We do not own the songs that we review and we talk all over them anyway, so we hope this encourages people to go out there and listen to the artists and buy official music and merchandise.

Thanks for the reaction, Baka ! Love Rolling Quartz 💎 ! They will be touring in Australia 🇦🇺 this September 2024 - and I have my ticket to see them. 😊
PS Not sure if you noticed it but this MV comes with an on-screen English Translation - as quite a few of the RQ 💎 MVs do.
Most of their stuff is this raw, except maybe Holler. Jayoung is a really great singer (and vocal coach too), she didn't have much opportunity to show it here. Try Holler, Fearless, Delight and above all Azalea to hear what she can do.
It's all about that drummer!
Jayoung is the real deal. This band is going to be huge.
Jayoung is excellent, but the Yeong Eun is next level.
5 beautiful girls that have been marketed brilliantly
Thanks for the reaction / review. I love these girls, love their music and skills especially considering pushing rock in Korea is absolutely not a rewarding experience since K-pop was born. If you are really interested what Jayoung (the vocalist) can do I recommend Reminiscence. It is a complete revamp of a 70s rock song originally by Sanullim on request by the author.
I love the fact that it's not overproduced. Raw, just how it's gonna be live. Live, they are loaded with charisma and enthusiasm,just like k-pop idols. I imagine them as girls, in k-pop boot camp, sitting on the floor with 50 girls including BlackPink. A guy in a suit walks in and says " can anyone play an instrumental? Come with me".
Great reaction. I enjoyed it. Definitely do check out RQ's other songs. I recommend fearless, holler, rock n roll paradise (live), azalea. As for other Korean bands, I recommend checking out Synsnake. They are a metalcore band. Also, since you are into Jpop/Jrock, it would be interesting to see your reaction to QWER. I would say they are the Kpop's take on Jpop/Jrock. They are all female band as well.
The lead singer Jayoung is also a Kpop vocal coach. This song is off their fourth record which was just released. DIH is another good K rock band.
Lots of good songs from Rolling Quartz. "Blaze", "Azalea", "Nazababara", "Reminiscence", "Stand Up", "Holler" and "Pink Drop" for starters.
Baka - if you want to hear the purity and power of Jayoung's voice here are 3 excellent RQ 💎 MV songs. All 3 are covers, the first 2 by Korean artists from the 70s. The last 2 songs highlight Jayoung's skills on keyboards as well as vocals.
* 'Azalea' (Maya cover)
* 'Reminiscence' (Sanullim cover)
* 'Always Remember Us This Way' (Lady Gaga cover) .
Enjoyed the reaction. You might want to check out DIH. They're currently on hiatus due to lack of a following, but they have a great sound. I'd love to see them get some success and make a come back.
Love Rolling Quartz!
For years people have underestimated these ladies abilities
Arem, the bass player is my second favorite bassist, right behind MISA!
Arem 🖤 is my equal favourite bassist - together with Miho Rosana 💜 .
Howard ... you should have told me ... I could have helped you ... a lot :p
I will certainly watch this again .... Without sound 🤪
