So, I learnt at a young age, that appreciation of musical composition starts with not just listening but active listening, intelligent listening, being able to appreciate how a piece breaks down and comes together. It gave me a greater listening pleasure, enjoying the technical as well as the emotional effects of the musical piece, thanks Paul it's good to be reminded of this 👍

Great :) I have a question how does the recording of such a piece look like? I understand that you play all together. But what does it look like in case you play a "bad" note? Something that you don't like. Do you record the whole piece from the beginning or is there a way to correct a particular part? BTW great tune :)
If the track is isolated meaning no other instruments appear on the track and microphones are not bleeding into each other. And you can play closely to what was intended, then you can do what is called punching in or overdubbing to fix small sections that have mistakes.

I think your wife was mistaken. I thought the video would be too technical, but from my perspective, it was really fairly basic and straightforward.
