  • A look at my rather small 15mm bolt action collection. I have more, but these are the ones I have played with. 15mm actually works quite well for Bolt Action.

    Cracking armies! I always thought Bolt Action would be better played with 15mm or 20mm figures as the ranges would be much more in scale with figures/scenics. Painting the back of the bases works well, I have done that with my 20mm lads to show the different squads and added white pips for the leaders. The Stuart in British service was, IIRC, sometimes also called the Honey. Cheers!

      Ah yes... Honey, now I remember, thanks. The ranges always bugged me with 28mm, 15mm seems much more in range to the scale.

      Your instincts were correct. Also, thanks for the tips on unit marking.

    very nice, good details for 15mm minis. Tank camo on the germans is awesome.

    Huh. Since I’ve got a few suitcases worth of WW2 soldiers in 1/72 aka 20mm scale, coming from my oldman and childhood, I might finally have found a game where to use all of them… 😂
    …we have a mix of italeri, airfix, Revell, mars, zvezda, and a few other unknown manufactures with a range of US marines, US para, Fallschirm, british para, Brit commandos, Soviet, very rare Late war Finnish infantry, German heer, Late war German grenadiers (or ”Ardennes grenadiers”, since they came with a 1/72 Battle of the Bulge set), Deutche Afrika Korps, and possibly more beyond of my current attempt of memorizing…

    I’ve been loving your videos. The Horus Heresy prints has got me saving up for a resin printer now. I’d love to see your beginners guide to printing. Keep up the top work mate. Thanks, from Australia 🙂

      Its well worth it. I would advise spending some time and downloading every file you can get your hands on right away. G.W are on the war path.

    Is it possible to see a battle report with these 15mm Bolt Action armies?

    How big are the bases for the infantry? Victrix has 12mm ww2 minis amd we are thinking of starting 12mm bolt action. 🙂

    What did you use for the bases? Great armies!

      It was one of the ready basing systems from Greeks gaming. I cannot remember which one tho.. a forestry sounding one I think

    Nice video dude, love the models! Question, I play BA with normal 28mm, do you alter the rules to play at this scale or keep the measurements the same etc?

    • @leaddeath1397
      @leaddeath1397  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don't change the measurements at all. Works fine. A tank should be able to shoot the entire table anyway so.
