13:22 now that it's connected to the calibration point, turn the adjustment on the probe(set screw in the bnc end of the probe cable) so the tops of the square wave are perfectly level on the display. i can see that it's off. then go back to the square wave of the function generator and look at how much better it looks. i know it's been 4 years but maybe this will help someone watching this video. i'm bidding on one of these right now.
Funny enough my mate was given one not from same person, but is a real good vintage one by Tectronics we just have to fix it think due to a valve ( tube) going soft by letting a small amount of air in do to a crack in the glass allowing it to arc.
My mates one may be a bit difficult Alex has checked the CRT which looks okay just checking the valves which are still available either here from a firm called Langrex who used to be in Croydon but now on line or German dealers, waiting for 2 valves now....hope they work he has ordered them.

Very far out for me.
They are not too complicated simply a way of showing signals not normally viewable.
