Buddy your reviews are good and honest. But the way you drive is too rough especially on public roads. I am not against driving fast but doing it while you are already busy talking, leaving the steering, adjusting the camera on triple digit speeds, you might end up hitting someone.

That's absolutely wrong. Don't mislead the crowd. BHP is directly proportional to acceleration The amount of Torque is inversely proportional to the amount of BHP. More the BHP lesser the torque. Which is why while the car is on lower gears it will have tremendous amount of torque but lesser BHP but in case of higher gears, it's other way around. Car doesn't need more BHP to be able to move it's weight. It needs torque. More torque helps to move the car quickly hence it can reach higher BHP quickly. That doesn't mean torque is responsible for acceleration. That's how mechanical things work. Stop assuming the things. Torque is all about pulling power. It's never about acceleration.

We can't because there's no enough torque available to move the car in those gears we only will have more BHP. And now another scenario. Can we reach 0-100 speeds in lower gears? Especially in 1st gear? Engine will sound like it's dieing, the only reason is we will have plentiful of torque to move a car, but not enough BHP to go fast. By nature engine produces both in higher RPMs. But gearbox does the magic to modulate and does all the magic to make the torque and bhp available in all the gear ratios appropriately. Hope I didn't confuse you even more.

Phaaji, ok gal hor. Trucks have less bhp, but more torque than buses. Both have different purposes. One is for carrying more load even in the hills, the other is made for less weight, but better speeds. Hope you can use this example for Power aur Torque.

I am owner of the plush new XUV500 - 3rd iteration and here is my feedback, 11,800 kms and 9 months - : Its a gimmick - I doubt the reliability of all these features - and even if so, I think people would like a reliable car over multiple features that may or may not work at times.. Mahindra has just put in lots of features with not the best of materials...dont get drawn into such gimmicks...I regret buying the "plush new XUV500" - 11,800 kms, 9 months. list of problems - 1. Middle Seats made horrible noise - changed at 2500 kms; 2. Rear Disk Brakes had massive rust issues - again changed; 3. Sunroof made horrible noise - some lubrication post multiple complaints; 4. Infotainment has been an issue to begin with - went direct ie when i turned the car off the system was still on, radio misses signal every more often than not, Android Auto GPS loses signal every now and then, Android auto does not come on every now and then, bluetooth track does not update every now and then, system is awfully slow sometimes - no solution in sight so far 5. Wipers make horrible noise when cleaning the windshield - no solution in sight so far 6. Auto folding side view mirrors - have a mind of their own, sometimes they work and sometimes they dont; will not take command from inside door panel button as well sometimes - will not fold or unfold if you press the button on the inside driver side door panel - never been solved 7. Bad vibrations from the car and the suspension is not the best, thuds feel very strong inside the car - low quality plastics it seems 8. Start stop function sometimes does not work - gimmick 9. Horn vibration - filters through the speakers and into the music you play - no solution in sight 10. Car windshield cracked unexpectedly, was changed by the dealer! Overall while Mahindra gives all these super duper features - I dont know how reliable they are. This is from a person who owns and drives their 3rd iteration of the XUV500 ie the "plush new XUV". The CAR HAS BARELY DONE 12000 Kms in 9 months! Stay Away from Mahindra cars!

Dynamics at high speed is always shown in controlled environment NOT at the cost of fellow drivers on road. He is driving UNSAFE and is a DANGER to other people on road.
Bhai handling is good because ground clearance is just 180mm which is lower than even Freestyle (190mm), and much lower than Ecosport (200mm), Brezza (198mm) and Nexon (209mm). This vehicle has least amount of boot space. After paying highest you get least boot space and least ground clearance, avg space, overall practicality RIP.

buy Tata Stock? Check out their JLR businesses losses. Tata is not a startup. Both Landrovers and Jaguar are losing their market in China. That is a major issue and they will find it hard to capture those markets again. Not to mention Landrovers have become even more unreliable after Tata acquired it. I think Tata motors will go bust rather than boom boom in next 10 years. Moreover Tata will never be able to pull significant sales number in India because of poor after sales service and lack of eco system around the car.

I think it's done purposefully. Nexon and Xuv300 might of same class, but I feel xuv is class apart, esp in refinement and finish levels. Nexon is not that refined neither properly finished (lot of niggles).

Infotainment has been an issue to begin with - went direct ie when i turned the car off the system was still on, radio misses signal every more often than not, Android Auto GPS loses signal every now and then, Android auto does not come on every now and then, bluetooth track does not update every now and then, system is awfully slow sometimes - no solution in sight so far
5. Wipers make horrible noise when cleaning the windshield - no solution in sight so far
6. Auto folding side view mirrors - have a mind of their own, sometimes they work and sometimes they dont; will not take command from inside door panel button as well sometimes - will not fold or unfold if you press the button on the inside driver side door panel - never been solved
7. Bad vibrations from the car and the suspension is not the best, thuds feel very strong inside the car - low quality plastics it seems
8. Start stop function sometimes does not work - gimmick
9. Horn vibration - filters through the speakers and into the music you play - no solution in sight
10. Car windshield cracked unexpectedly, was changed by the dealer!
Overall while Mahindra gives all these super duper features - I dont know how reliable they are. This is from a person who owns and drives their 3rd iteration of the XUV500 ie the "plush new XUV". The CAR HAS BARELY DONE 12000 Kms in 9 months! Stay Away from Mahindra cars!

be careful while driving and recording at the same time. I have booked an xuv 300, and major reason is your review. This car gives you what really matters - safety, performance, passenger comfort. All xuv engineering is focused on these factors.
You are posting a car review on Social Media with 120 kmph to 140kmph. How unprofessional it is to talk with your both hands off the steering wheel constantly. Dynamics at high speed is always shown in controlled environment NOT at the cost of fellow drivers on road. He is driving UNSAFE and is a DANGER to other people on road.
Bhai handling is good because ground clearance is just 180mm which is lower than even Freestyle (190mm), and much lower than Ecosport (200mm), Brezza (198mm) and Nexon (209mm). This vehicle has least amount of boot space. After paying highest you get least boot space and least ground clearance, avg space, overall practicality RIP.

Cabin noise thing is really awesome. Drove it on bangalore mysore expressway. Took 1.2 hours and the sound in cabin was lovely. Tata guys miss this. Their engine makes sound

It has happened with me in tata safari at radisson udaipur.. car ka foot step driver side ka khtm hgya tha..

buy Tata Stock? Check out their JLR businesses losses. Tata is not a startup. Both Landrovers and Jaguar are losing their market in China. That is a major issue and they will find it hard to capture those markets again. Not to mention Landrovers have become even more unreliable after Tata acquired it. I think Tata motors will go bust rather than boom boom in next 10 years. Moreover Tata will never be able to pull significant sales number in India because of poor after sales service and lack of eco system around the car.

Nexon and Xuv300 might of same class, but I feel xuv is class apart, esp in refinement and finish levels. Nexon is not that refined neither properly finished (lot of niggles).
