In sum of graph there are total 9 edges, in which we combine each vertex of G1 to each vertex of G2.

Mam in case of intersection u have missed the vertex c which was common in both the graph

Hi! C is not common vertex as it does not have any common edge.
In between a & b ,e3 is a common edge in both graph. So we take as common.
