Saw JERSEY BOYS on Broadway in NYC....by far, the best show I've ever seen. As a lifetime New Yorker, I know I'm biased when I say, THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE BROADWAY IN NEW YORK CITY, TO SEE ANY SHOW !!
Wen to the show yesterday, matinee. Fantastic. Sound, music, costumes... the way they combined the story & the music. Hope to go again before some of current cast leave. Totally recommended! Mandy
The London cast is a lot more...dynamic, I guess, than the American casts. Their sound is sharper and their movements are as well. There's nothing better than the original Broadway cast with John Lloyd Young to me, but there's definitely something to be said about the precision of the British cast.
I went last night and i'm going back on 29th!! I wish they'd get this cast to release the Jersey Boys CD instead of the Broadway cast!! Counting down the days till my second time!
I've just got back from seeing the West End show (3rd time!) and i'm loving it more than ever! I finally got to see Ryan as Frankie after seeing his understudy, Scott, the previous times and as wonderful as he was, Ryan makes the role his own. I've just booked tickets for next Saturday lol!
@barrycapal I've seen it four times myself: three times in London and once in Chicago and fully agree with you. I'm planning to see it in New York this summer. And hope this will be on in Seoul too.
Hey I saw this on Tuesday and it was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G however Ryan wasn't in it - it was the third understudy; he was brilliant though! I just wondered if anyone could tell me which song they performed with their backs to you and the flashing cameras - i loved that part. I know they showed it during this video but i can't recall it during Walk like a man- i thought it was closer to the end!
@billstar01 Thanks for your reply. I bought his album in London, which is great. Did you see Ryan in Jerry Springer the Opera? He played a transvestite there. What a marvellous acting and singing~!
The Best Shows Are always in London Not Just Cos The Shows The Theatre are massive and are very detailed. JERSEY BOYS IS THE BEST SHOW IVE EVER SEEN! Better than Wicked and Billy Elliot IM SERIOUS Ryan Molloy-Playing Frankie Vallie In The London Production Is AN AMAZINGLY GREAT SINGER HE REACHES THE HEAVENS NOTE Hes exactly what hes like in the vid but BETTER I RECOMMEND IT TO EVERYONE!!! (i think its unsuitable for kids cos theres lots of swearing init) I LOVE JERSEY BOYS DANIEL :)
They aren't wearing wigs, it's to do with the lights on the stage and the white balance settings on the camera. Gives bog changes in the appearance of colous
@325Chuck355 Did you see the new London cast (especially Jon Boydon)? I saw the show last December and they were great, better than the original London cast actually.
@saskexkurusaki Well, given what I saw in Chicago, I don't agree with them. The singing, acting, and personal charm of the London cast (especially Ryan Molloy and Stephen Ashfield) can hardly be matched I believe.
Why do they four Jersey Boys have reddish brown hair in the beginning, then later, have dark brown hair??? I realize they are wearing hairpieces.... but the change in hair colour does not make much sense to me

Just saw the show in NYC last night!!! The most fun and powerful story ever written. Music really is a healer.
Wen to the show yesterday, matinee. Fantastic. Sound, music, costumes... the way they combined the story & the music. Hope to go again before some of current cast leave. Totally recommended! Mandy
I have seen this show three times but I'd see it every month if I lived nearer London. It's brilliant.
I just can't get enough of the show!
I'm seeing it on Broadway September 18, 2008! It looks Amazing! Can't wait to see it!
god i love these songs, this is what i grew up listening to on the oldies station my parents listened to
I saw the alternate today, and he was just as good, had a great voice!
That wink though at 0:40!!😍😍😍 love Glenn!
Loved Ryan at the Princes Trust. He and the Band Stole the Show.
I remember Ryan winking me at last year's West Live! Oh, what a day, what a memory! ;D

Sweet, so sweet....just can't explain it.
Seen the show six times; five times in London, once in Chicago. No question, the (original) London cast were the best, though not a lot in it!
Cannot wait to see this on Broadway in September! The music is Awesome!
I seen this for the first time on saturday (: it was amaz
I fully agree. I hope they release it sooner or later.
That's also my favourite part. I hope you'll see them in London. They're brilliant!

same here I have met ryan as well
Me too! Love his voice :D
I love Glenn Carter so much. He got a lady-killer wink to all the lady fans. Thanks for posting.
I think your chances of seeing Ryan on a Saturday evening are pretty good, providing he's still in the show which I pray he is or not sick/on holiday.
the high pitched guy (dont no his name) but there is no one else like him apart from the orginal guy he has the acent!!
the melbourne cast is one of the best
Ryan Molloy ❣️
The London cast is great
Thanks- that's been really annoying me all week! :D
Great to hear that he is staying. I hope I can see the show again before Glenn and Philip are leaving...But I'm too far away from London...(sob)
Love it ❤️
Ryan Molloy was great in the Jerry Springer Opera as well.

thanks for your info!
Watch the Vegas Production, my friends!
yeah that "walk like a mahn" made me do a double take
@Stifledsubmission In the first chorus, yes but in the second chorus it's "walk like a man from you".
how does EVERYONE get locked in to the studio?

Wow, was that a touch of Oxford I hear in the A of mAn?

I saw it in Chicago too. But it was so disappoiting, compared to the Westend show.
That's Ryan Molloy
they techno'd his mic at :51
This is clearly a promo vid. there is obviously no audience there in the first place.
@saskexkurusaki Well, given what I saw in Chicago, I don't agree with them. The singing, acting, and personal charm of the London cast (especially Ryan Molloy and Stephen Ashfield) can hardly be matched I believe.
I saw this cast and i prefer Glenn as Tommy, but i love the new Nick, Eugene
WTF!?! HaHaHaHaHaHa
You nutter ;)
Why do they four Jersey Boys have reddish brown hair in the beginning, then later, have dark brown hair???
I realize they are wearing hairpieces.... but the change in hair colour does not make much sense to me
Why didn,t they put BLACK "Just for men " on Bob Gaudio ??
just for men is a hair dye!!
I've never seen the show, but plenty of youtube clips....I think the British Frankie Valli sounds most like the real Frankie Valli...
@SexyDanteNeverCry so what? watch some cheesy stuff then.
