40.Day 2024, Day 14: The courage to be salt and light, Lucas Chow

This is Day 14 of LoveSingapore’s 40.Day 2024 prayer devotional, featuring Lucas Chow, Steward, Local Church Executive Committee of Wesley Methodist Church.
PRAYER POINTERS:
1. Pray for the boldness and courage to share the Gospel with others. Ask for the fear of rejection or embarrassment to be replaced with confidence in God’s truth and love.
2. Pray for the Holy Spirit to guide you in your evangelistic efforts. Ask God for the right words, wisdom and understanding to effectively communicate the Good News to those who come into your life.
3. Pray for a burden for the lost, especially those who are resolutely rejecting the Gospel. Ask God to work in their hearts, helping them discern the truth of the Gospel amidst the distractions of the world. Pray for God to stir up a genuine interest in them to know more about Christ and His love.

My market place consisted of malays , buddhists, atheists- not just christians...it is always easier to share our faith with christians!

Why do we need to do anything? The work is finished. It was precisely because our wills are bound that Christ had to come. The Christian faith is a movement from virtue to grace, not vice to virtue. There is nothing to do.
