    HI ana , I'm a bit confused , the conjunction CHE , does it come in the main clause or in the subordinate clause ?? Grazie

    • @MyItalianCircle

      Hi Niccolò, the relative pronoun CHE links two clauses and it's found at the beginning of the subordinate clause: Ho visto (main clause) che hai mangiato la torta (subordinate clause).

    Could someone please explain why the subjunctive 'CHE ARRIVI' is used in the sentences below:
    Aspetto qui all'ombra che arrivi il tram.
    Aspetti che arrivi il suo avvocato.
    Is it because the arrival is uncertain and the subjunctive expresses uncertainty?

    • @MyItalianCircle
      @MyItalianCircle  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you for your question. Aspettare is part of a long list of verbs that requires the subjunctive in the dependent clause. Aspettare implies an expectation - I am waiting for something to happen.
      We'll talk more about the subjunctive in dependent clauses in our next video on this important verb mood.

    Ne ho paura. Pensavo che lo capisca, ma adesso credo che sia molto complesso.

      In effetti è un argomento complesso, ma è meglio concentrarsi sui concetti di base e non fermarsi su tutti i piccoli dettagli :)
