I love that ride. Such a shame that both Disney & Amblin never met eye to eye regarding Roger Rabbit. Would have loved to see him in more films or his own television series. Also, more attractions & content based on Roger Rabbit throughout the parks

If there's one thing I'm hopeful for (although I don't know how much hope I can really have) is that someday a new CEO will want to patch things up with Amblin so that Roger can have the things he deserves in the parks. Roger Rabbit is a loveable character. He's meant to be a classic cartoon and since the fans definitely treat him as such - so should both of the companies. Who knows? Maybe this will be the thing that Chapek does right. He's always clammoring for more IP in the parks. Maybe with this new position he found himself in, he'll be able to convince Spielberg to allow Roger back.

Cartoon spin has always been my favorite dark ride at Disneyland! Even though the whole roger rabbit fad was way before I was born I’ve always had a special place in my heart for this ride and toon town in general 💖
Aw, P-P-P-P-PLEEEEEAAAAASSSSSEEEEE, Disney! DON'T censor poor Roger and company out of existence! Without Toontown, you wouldn't have experienced the Renaissance that got you to where you are now.
I think it's for the better that an entire Roger Rabbit land didn't get added. It's definitely an aged property now and not one that is particularly popular nowadays.
Thanks for showing the ride queue area! When we went in October last year the demand was so low you just walked onto the ride, the queue was closed off. WFRR has been one of my favorite Disney movies since I saw it as a kid, sad it fell out of popularity so quickly.
I've Been On Roger Rabbit Car Toon Spin Dark Ride At Disneyland Resort Theme Park In Anaheim Near Hollywood In Los Angeles California In The United States Of America Back In April 2016 And It's A Bit Like Brum The Little Magic Car From Brum The Original Series In 1991. Thanks Mate. X
It will be interesting to see what gets shelved like this here at Disney World for the 50th because of this pandemic. Always love your videos!! Hope you're staying healthy and keeping safe!
I love this ride! And Who Framed Roger Rabbit is one of my favorite movies. I wonder if the ride will always be there or at some point they would replace it with something else. Like what they're doing with Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway
So, Roger Rabbit as a character means a lot to me. So what I'm gonna say right here is less discussing just the Roger's Hollywood concept and just a few of the ideas during the Sunset Blvd. expansion. Between this and all the brilliant ideas they had for a Muppet land that got axed when Jim Henson passed before the deal finalized, I'm gonna say a ton of missed opportunities were there. Apart from the Baby Herman dark ride, the Benny the Cab ride and the Trolley ride that all got combined into Car Toon Spin, there was a roller coaster based on Roller Coaster Rabbit, a Toontown themed minigolf course ala Fantasia Gardens but with more chaotic effects, and who knows what else. And keep in mind that all of these amazing ideas were for Roger only. What they had in mind for The Muppets were just as wild.
this ride in disneyland got an update in 2022; jessica rabbit became a detective and now wears a yellow jacket, and she is now standing to the right of the weasel who previously was stuffing her in his car
Panda Park Constructions Toontown Fair lasted for years before they tore it down to expand Fantasyland. Before that it was known as Mickey’s Birthday land and then Starland. Then it became Toontown Fair
It would be nice if Disney could figure out something with Amblin so Roger Rabbit could be used again in the parks or even in animated features. Disney can't complain when they had to hire another studio to help with the movie and couldn't write the contract up to keep the rights to the character.
I love watching your videos and be nice if in the future you would could look into doing something from Branson either silver Dollar City or celebration City
I have to admit; one of the biggest disappointments I experienced going to DisneyWorld was the lack of 'Roger-Rabbit' -themed attractions, especially after they had been so hyped up. Sadly the only 'RR' -attraction I saw was on the tram-tour ride, where I saw the legendary Dip-Machine itself, just rotting away in a junkyard. I almost screamed in protest. (But did get a photo!)
I forgot I rode this ride at Disneyland as a 5-year-old until I saw this video, and now I have an explanation for the years of vivid nightmares involving those goddamn weasels.
Shame Disney and Amblin couldn't get a long and produce more Roger rabbit content. His universe had lots of interesting concepts and ideas that could be used for other stories.
It would be cool maybe in the future for Disney to maybe bring more of him back to the parks, especially now with all the new technology Disney is currently developing.

Hey Theme Park History, Can u please do The Great Movie Ride/Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway at Disney's Hollywood Studios? That would be fantastic, "Nothing Can Stop Us Now!"
I wish the Disney Imagineers would build Roller Coaster Rabbit for real at Disneyland in California at Mickey’s Toon Town. That’ll be great. While riding the roller coaster, you can hear Roger Rabbit and Baby Herman screaming throughout the entire attraction from speakers installed on the cars of the roller coaster trains.
i tried going on this ride a few years ago, but the ride kept breaking down, people kept getting closer and closer to me (people love unnecessarily moving forward when the line isn’t even moving) and the lines scenery and small spaces just drove me into a full anxiety attack. luckily my friends were there with me and we got out of line in one pieces. needless to say i don’t plan on riding it anytime soon lol

I wouldn't say "censored him from their history" as in recent years Roger has made a Tiny bit of a Comeback Although unfortunately, not entirely. Roger Has currently made short, brief cameos in The Chip N' Dale movie and As a Clock in the live action Pinocchio; Plus The character's most recent appearance as a walkaround character was in 2020 for the after dark 80s nite, and there's still currently officially licensed merchandising still being produced. And not to mention when it comes to ToonTown, The ride is obviously and thankfully still they're both in the California and Tokyo version and The Talking Roger and Jessica Mailboxes are still at the ToonTown Post Office.
