The first boat that flipped was not because the hull wasn't deep enough, it flipped because the hull design wasn't stable. Wider gives more stability. In addition, while V shaped hull is better than U shaped hull, neither is all that great. Is this really educational when you don't talk about center of boyancy and center of mass?

This is for primary school kids. They need to learn about buoyancy and density. I think this is pretty good for who it is aiming for.
