@@SecretLifeOfASeamstress I've just ordered the pattern. I recently (almost) made the Deer and Doe Mellilot shirt in a beautiful cobalt blue Tencel material. Unfortunately the sleeves have come up really tight (a thing I've never experienced before). I'll see if I can convert it to a sleeveless top. Your tip above will be very useful.
Lovely video im going to buy the pattern now, i love the blue one on the mannequin, all your dresses and blouse are beautiful, thank you for showing your lovely makes x
I think my favourites are your Scottie dog version and the one on your mannequin. All are beautiful though. Look forward to seeing what you make from Tilly's new book xx
Sew Little Time thank you so much for watching! The Scottie fabric is so cute and sometimes it’s lovely to make something from a quilting cotton isn’t it. 💓
Do you follow Lisa Kisch on Instagram? She has just posted a lovely version of this dress ,this morning.I like her fabric choice, I mentioned your post to her.
This is a really fun format. I found the video after watching the sew over it tops video. I've skipped over to instagram after every dress to look for a photo of you wearing it. Maybe you could consider putting a picture of you wearing the makes on screen for a moment to make the watch easier? Thanks for the lovely video!
MsKatastrophenBarbie thank you for your feedback yes it would be better and I’ve actually done that in my latest video my Sew Over It dress collection. I talk about the peplum blouse and rust coloured dress in my March and April makes video if you want to have a look at that :) thank you so much for watching xx
Just found you, but only from Insta! You tube us odd how it chooses what to show us! The very first darling ranges had s narrower shoulder and a bust dart rather than a waist dart. It worked really well as sleeveless! I ve got both and have just toiled the new version 1. Good to see it in viscose too. Thanks for sharing!
I just found yr channel, love yr content , I also subscribed ! The viscose dress, the first one u made I think is lovely 😊 All the others are great too ! Well done ! Did u lengthen the bodice ?
Found you (follow on Instagram). Just making this. I store mine in plastic envelopes 🙂 ...Using chambray from JL too, not sure about it, will use viscose next time. And thank you. This video is really useful to me.
Hi Sue I'm glad you found me :) I love my chambray version it gets softer the more it's washed. I think the pattern should be made in a more stable fabric really but I love my viscose versions too. I hope you like your dress once it's finished xx
I love your video, and I would love to try this pattern but I am afraid of buttonholes. I have made things like a wrap dress before but I have never attempted buttonholes. What do you think, are they as hard as I perceive them to be?
I am also a very big BLUE fan. You've inspired me to have go at this pattern (or even more than one go!)
I love blue!! I’m pleased to have inspired you I hope you enjoy making it! Thank you for watching xx

In a Haystack thank you I’m pleased with it just wish I’d made it button up but at least there won’t be any accidental midriff exposure this way 😂
Love that pattern myself and made it quite few times. Love your collection. Especially the peplum top - so cute! Very clever hack. Thanks for sharing

Kathy Scott I don’t think they are but then I am way more afraid of zips than buttonholes 😂 Does your machine have an automatic buttonhole foot? X
@@SecretLifeOfASeamstress I do, and I just ordered the pattern, wish me luck, and I'm afraid of zips too!
Haha good luck happy to help if I can :)
