Thanks - Things are getting better now are the bike parks are open and this trail is not of the easiest to start with. 24km about 560m climb, but a lot of fun!👊
I was planning on doing the blue route, but that seemed to be under maintenance. Previously the blue route was about 20km. One of the guys told me that the blue route is now 40km, so I am very keen to check it out. The green route is still challenging, about 560m climb over the 20km...
@@MTBxSA ... well we do't ride the blue route as a total route, we see the green loop as the master loop, and then we add the blue as little sub loops, pick which one we want to do on which days. it's def not 40km.
@@georgelza I remember the last time the blue was about 25km or so, but I am keen to go check it out when it's open. I did some of the blue sections, such as the Samuel's (Samuel 1- 3 Which I will be posting next). The total was about 24km, but there were sections which I skipped and some other sections which I tried but was still under maintenance. I will revisit the trail in about a month or so and do the complete blue trail and will let you know the total distance. (You can follow me on Strava as I upload most of my rides, especially the ones where I post videos.
Have you ridden at Thaba? What's your experience and how did you find the trail overall?

looks fun even with the uphills. Next time jump that drop :) looking very dry now.
Winter time, rain only in summer here. I needed more speed to jump that drop, now I know for next time 😎
