Vault of Glass for your first time, King's Fall for overall challenge and adventure, but Wrath of the Machines had by far one of the most epic combination of music and intense gunfights of all. My favourite raid by far. :)
Oh yeah, especially given Aksis powered himself up BIG TIME thanks to SIVA, and what he and his fellow Devil Splicers had done to parts of Old Russia with the Plaguelands.

Such good memories of doing this raid, came back for the nostalgia and when the Destiny franchise was flawed but loveable. Unfortunately have no intention of ever coming back.
Difficulty shouldn’t be based on complex mechanics. In fact even Kings fall is like a strike level of complexity compared to something like last wish. VoG, KF, WoTM are amazing and I would kill to bring them back
It's 4:42 am and I am here thinking about how much I genuinely miss this raid. I'm disappointed Bungie hasn't brought this back and made a D2 version yet. When they do, I will be there for it 100 percent. Easily my favorite raid since it launched and has stayed my favorite raid through all of D2.

My best memory was when I messed up Aksis challenge. It took us 2 more hours to do it but it was worth it. I love this raid with a passion and hope someday it will come to Destiny 2. Eyes Up Guardians

I played the absolute fuck out of destiny up until March of 2017, when I got on my Xbox and discovered my account was permanently suspended due to “toxic behavior” which was absolute bs. I tried to get my account back but they said that they couldn’t modify the suspension, as it was permanent. But I remember i was banned about a week after doing hard wrath for the first time. (I wasn’t the best destiny player lmao) but it just sucks that I had to restart a whole new account because of something I didn’t do. But this video just brings back memories.
i remember doing this the day it came out and just being in the moment with all some randoms and a friend also the music was a adrenaline rush absolutely loved it but man i miss it :(
Ah I wish I had listened to my friends to get this game in it’s prime, I started on d2 and I think it’s alright but what I would give to have played this game in its prime, everyone has such fond memories of it and I wish I could’ve been there as well

This fucking fight was intense it makes sense Aksis has so much health because he's literally a Gundam at this point. Also 5:21 I can hear it on the mic "HIT EM HARD!."
If bungie is bringing back VoG, they need to bring this back along with kings fall and crota’s end. Last wish is the only thing that comes remotely close to this in D2 currently
The reason destiny 2 raids dont feel like this anymore is because i mean 1: the soundtrack and 2: because d2 raids always have like 1 phase-able bosses. D1, it was always multiple phases, and always added that suspense that after being 10-15 minutes into a run, a mistake could cause your whole team to wipe instantly. Everyone needed to pour every bullet into draining that bosses health. There was no room for anyone to slack. It was great times because it really made it known that everyone there played a role, and it could not be done without them.
The soundtrack is personal opinion, and personally I feel like the music from D2 is way better. You could 1 phase in D1 and most of the bosses in D2 aren't easily one phaseable. Some people say the complete opposite, that they don't like D2 raids because if someone dies in an encounter, it's a wipe. There are countless encounters like that in D2.

Primary: Scout Rifles with Explosive Rounds or Touch of Malice does the better damage towards Aksis Secondary: Shotgun does more damage then fusion rifles/sniper rifles since every single pallet hits Aksis in different damage ratios. A final round shotgun would be the most ideal for this. Found verdict/stolen will/4th Horsemen are the favorites Heavy: Rocket launchers with cluster bombs and recommended tripod does more damage than machine guns/swords a.k.a. Dark Drinker etc. this is because when you shoot Aksis with the launcher, the rocket impact of itself plus the cluster bombs will drop onto all six legs doing tons of damage for each. Unto Dust/The Smolder/The Warpath/Steel Oracle are some good rocket launchers for this. Tripod Perk is also good. There is another reply coming

The main reason for this is thermite grenades and melting point on the melee as well as simmering flames when you have your super. (While doing damage you keep your super.) Thermite Grenades is basically a wall fiery grenade that goes down on the racks and hits its legs, kind of like the same as cluster rocket launchers. This is the best grenade used on Aksis. Melting Point: “Burn away your targets defenses” basically well in session every single gun that you and your allies shoot would do more damage for five seconds Warlock Class: Sunsinger over Void/Stormtrance. Song of flame is the main reason for this. It basically reduces the cool down of grenades and any other perks for your allies for around 10 seconds. An Example is a titan able to throw 5 thermite grenades in one teleportation (normally the last). Hunter Class: Nobody really uses tether anymore as they get fussed at for tethering Aksis as it glitches the damage and cancels out a Titans Melting Point. So sometimes I prefer Gunslinger with Celestial Nighthawk or Memory of Felwinter with double knifes and grenades or the sticky smokes. Hope this helped a bit
