Bowser acts much more playful in this game than most others. It’s almost like he enjoys battling Mario and possibly looks forward to loosing just so he can have a complex plan to fight him again.

for some people who type that you took damage, no he did this no damage. if you lose clone that will not count as damage since it is for people who will think they will take damage from blobs and it si like bonus aku aku that you can have in 1 stage. and the real damage is when you lose a life or you will have 1 mario and they will hit you since double cherry clone will die in 1 hit even with power up. so that does not count as damage because real mario did not take damage from blobs
