Do you ever think that the survivors of the great flood started a civilization in the mountains to escape, just in case there was another flood, and that over many generations they abandoned their cities in the mountains and moved to lower altitudes when another flood never came?
At some point, the mountains sprang up from these catastrophes. Making them hard to survive at such heights. But, after Christianity entered these regions, there was no need to worship these pagan gods that taught human sacrifice. Jesus Christ came to bring life, and life abundantly.
you know, got me thinking. i grew up in mountains of NY state and played with blue slate stone. real super flat chunks that flake off the "mountains"...seeing these "blocks" (lol) made me realize, the same way NATURE makes those flat slate like rocks, is through layering and compacting of sedimentary layers...well, that's no different ultimately than what you show in the packed earth walls, intentional layers of sediment that are compacted. and over time, what do you get? exhibit A

I spent 3 weeks in Peru 11 years ago. It's an epic place. Everywhere you step your tripping over history!
Thanks! God bless you Bro
The heights of the coast of Peru is amazing! The separation from sea, mountains, and forest is a wild landscape.
