Saw a story on Ripestories that was similar to the first story, the big difference it was a teacher, a kindergardner, and a cupcake. The whole thing ended up with jailtime, a lawsuit, loss of teaching license, and loss of a job. I think it was mentioned to be a felony.
What was in the cupcake the kid was allergic to? And better yet, is the child okay??
Probably peanuts. My son lost a friend from a peanut allergy. Church camp and someone brought Rice Krispie treats with peanut butter 😢
With the first story. Bruh, my best friend is allergic to peanuts & a friend of mine on discord is allergic to shrimp. This woman must also not believe in modern medicine.

That story about the well sounds very suspicious, and I feel like the story is not true. Because talking to some family members. because, like I said, I talked to some family members. And they’re saying that story makes no sense. because why is this Dad was such a deadbeat why wouldn’t the grandfather not be able to leave nothing to the Dad? Why is it like supposedly required for him to leave something to the Dad? That logic makes no sense.

ppl like Sally are why we need more awareness about allergens in all forms, like allergens are on a spectrum. The 'picky eaters' could have OAS or something that makes it hard to have certain kinds of food. I can't eat raw veggies without some kind of reaction, it isn't as severe as the SIL of Sally but it still causes discomfort.
I'm allergic to pollen and tree pollen, dust and i have a allergy to bees, wasps and hornets. I'm also allergic to anything cillin (Medication)
I've had horror stories of people blowing dust and then realizing i sound like i have the flu because I'm allergic!! Same for pollen!!
My step dad once made me step on a bee and i was told i was overdramatic because my face swelled up and i felt sick.
I had Drs try to give me penicillin or amoxicillin (I'm allergic to all cillin products) and I've had to explain I'm allergic

Story 1: Oof, yeah, I would not be surprised if Sally were arrested for that. That's textbook reckless endangerment, and it doesn't sound like she'll be learning her lesson properly...so the next best thing is to keep Sally away from those she might harm.
Story 4: No means no. Even if the fiancee has good reasons for being wanted to be accepted by this family, her pushy behavior is pushing others away, and I don't blame the OP (and his sisters) for pushing back.
Story 6: While I see how people would say that your deleting footage off her camera was crossing the line, I say, so was her shooting that much footage of your house after she'd already agreed to limits that she didn't follow. I'd say that she was far, _far_ more in the wrong here.

The inheritance story is a prime example of what happens when someone royally fucks up and expects everyone they abandoned to clean it up for them. Because you know what's going to happen? If you give him the house, it's either going to not be good enough and he'll want the money too, it'll get trashed, or it'll get sold. If you give him the money and keep the house, he'll complain that the money's not enough and he needs the house too.
Solution?
Give him nothing. Tell him that your grandfather's parting wish for this world was for your deadbeat father to pick his own ass out of the mud and make his own path.
Him abandoning you and evading child support (which, if anything, he should lose any rights to inheritance based off of that alone, because that would cover about 15+ years of child support and then some) is not your fault, nor is it your problem to fix for him. Him going off and knocking up some other chick and having 4 kids, is not your fault, nor your problem. One of those kids having a rough life because your deadbeat dad can't afford to give him a stable life, while being ill, is once again, not your fault, nor your problem.
Harsh as it sounds, his sick child is not your problem to fix or sacrifice for. They are not your siblings, they are people who share 50% genetic material with you. You owe them nothing, you owe HIM less.

Ngl the first story reminds me sm of another reddit story when OP's entitled neighbor (I think it was) purposely put nuts in OP's bday cake and OP had to spend his bday in the hospital. Her reasoning was that she thought that OP was faking his allergies so she put nuts into the cake and hopes that he would eat it because "He wouldn't have any time to act out an allergic reaction if he doesn't know that there's nuts in the cake". Bro I was pissed for everyone in that story because that lady could've killed OP on his own birthday just to try to prove a point
Inheritance story: OP could always tell everyone that he'll happily match the same amount the aunts & uncles donate once provide him with clear proof that they did, in fact, donate the money and that any money he donates will be going directly to the hospital as a one-off payment to help the deadbeats kid, but only AFTER deadbeat has proven he and his wife have actually been paying the kids medical bills, and they provide proof of the outstanding debt to the hospital for their kid's treatment. Because you can almost guarantee that the aunts & uncles will either refuse to donate anything, or they won't want to donate much more than a combined $2K, and given the deadbeat dad's track record he probably hasn't been paying off more than the absolute minimum.
In the second story, I agree with the Reddit commenters. OP needs to honour their grandfather's wishes.
The OP's deadbeat father's siblings if they feel that the deadbeat father "deserves" the money because of having a sick child. They can give him the money. Und as he gets the money he'll go silent again.
i used to be allergic to soy and sunflower, which i have thankfully outgrown, but i can't even imagine what it must've been like to know a loved one almost killed you just because they wanted to prove a point

It is NOT pronounced like row row your boat. It's one of those British English words that America doesn't use. Thank you for coming to my ted talk.
Hi, American here. I've always heard it pronounced as in row a boat. So America absolutely does use it. The way it sounds like u're saying it is, sounds like it would sound like "wow!" Like, wow that was incredible! Would sound too much the same, and no one would understand that saying it that way here, lol 😅

That last story, people needbto realize that not all filmed footage is used in peoples videos, youbfilm everything and clip out what you need. Now she should have been way more upfront with you
While yes, you can clip edit and clip out certain footage, there was ABSOLUTELY no reason for her to have even filmed all that kind of footage in the first place. She told him only shots of the food set up and their friend group. She had absolutely no right to be filming the rest of the house in the first place, much less the bedroom and closet areas! She had no right to even be in there at all, much less even filming it in the first place. It's not what he agreed could be filmed, and was a violation of his privacy. If that happened to you, how would you feel?
