Beautiful results! To combat dryness when using this gel, I would suggest using Mielle Pomegranate and Honey Leave-In before the smoothie, then seal with an oil before adding the gel.

I bought the peach one in June and I still have some left. Although I make my own flaxseed gel for my hair now, I still use the leftover Style Factor to lay my edges or tame stubborn curls.

I am 4C, finally got my hands on this gel that everyone swore was a game-changer. Sadly for me, it didn't lay any edges down, I had a lot of snow, sticky hair, it dried my hair out really bad, so bad that when I washed my hair I had to condition for at least an hour to bring back the softness. Lastly, my scalp was just itching like crazy. It did make my curls pop though. It was just after it dried was when all the problems came in. I don't know what happen... Is this product not good for 4C hair? Do I need to add something to it? I really wanted this gel to work for me. Signed a frustrated natural. I guess I'll just stick to my EXTREME WETLINE GEL 🤷♀️
Yea I understand your frustration , that’s why I really don’t like using gels. I guess not everyone works the same so I would just stick to what you’ve been using , or maybe try to switch up the products you use with it.

Lol It definitely weighs ur hair down tho. I used it twice for a wash n go and then my hair seemed like it started to feel dry. Even with a leave in. I attributed it to the gel and haven't used it since. I think my hair prefers gels with a lighter hold.
