I L O V E D my MWXT, however I kept having issues with the encoders. Finally sold it and replaced it was a Hydrasynth. It's not a MWXT, but I can get sounds which are very close, and the effects, Macros and MPE make it a much more powerful tool in many respects. Great to hear this video though - brings back memories....
that was a righteous demo of the microWAVE XT. Thank you, I just got a Pulse and a BassStation, so I will post some videos when they get to my studio =)
Interesting sonic textures and ambient soundscapes, wavetable synthesis is pretty cool... will need to keep my eyes out for a Waldorf XT. :) Thanks for the demo.
I since got a Virus C and a xoxbox to complete my initial working circle. Drums via Electribe SX-1 do it dirty enough for me :). Nice setup you have :D. I work with a blo from time to time but having to reset it discounts it as a live set instrument for me.
@maccagrabme Yes, it contains same wavetables but not exactly all parameters that XT has. I don't remember full list about differencies but i have both so i know. That was another reason me to keep XT after buying Blofeld, besides of XT's hands on control.
I don't get it ..the first series of the microwave xt was with the plastic above the display but with other knobs ( those that fell of quickly ) The one that you have with the cone shaped knobs are the second bunch ... Did you put new knobs on it ?

Just awesome. Its been 5 or 6 years since I last saw this video and I have still not heard anything else like it.
When operated well, this synth gives you goose bumps. It's that good.

Lucky man, I have blo, a Q and a Prophet 600 and the XT along with a nice analog mono would close the perfect circle of synths for me.

That's odd, on mine the wave selection and filter cutoff knobs are red. Is yours an early model or something?
