The Volkswagen Transporter share Design and several body panels with the Ford Transit and Tourneo Custom van. However, Volkswagen designers have added their own Iconic styling elements to give the Transporter a unique appearance.
The sleek headlights on the front of the Volkswagen Transporter closely resemble those on the Multivan, while the design of the front bumper, which wraps around the grille, echoes the distinctive look of the ID Buzz. There is also a Panamericana version available, featuring robust black cladding and 19-inch alloy wheels.
At the rear, the Volkswagen Transporter features C-shaped tail lights that resemble those on the Volkswagen Amarok pickup truck. However, they share the same aperture as the tail lights on the Ford Transit Custom, indicating a similar design influence.
The German company showed the interior of the new generation Volkswagen Transporter at the end of last year, and drew attention to its details last week.
The interior of the new Volkswagen Transporter boasts a 12-inch digital instrument panel and a 13-inch touchscreen multimedia display, and it also includes numerous practical storage compartments, enhancing convenience and utility.. Body lengths for the Volkswagen Transporter range from 5.05 meters to 5.45 meters, with maximum load volumes varying between 5.8 and 9.0 cubic meters. The new vehicle can carry payloads of up to 1,330 kg and tow a trailer with a capacity of 2,800 kg.
The New 2025 Volkswagen Transporter will be available with a choice of three diesel engines, offering power outputs of 109bhp, 147bhp, or 168bhp. All-wheel drive is offered with the more powerful Diesel engine options.. Additionally, a plug-in hybrid or eHybrid option will provide 229bhp.
The most exciting development, however, is the introduction of the fully electric Volkswagen Transporter eTransporter. This model will come in three versions, generating 134bhp, 215bhp, and 282bhp, respectively. Each variant features a single electric motor powering the rear wheels and is equipped with a 64kWh battery, promising a range of approximately 200 miles on a full charge.
